You have the stage but that's not enough. Need to do something with it. Martin L King and Gandhi have left us the instruction manual. Their ONE DEMAND would be "Shut down Wall St. because the corporate interests huddled here are hurting American citizens, hurting citizens of the world and hurting the environment." When they fail to shut it down, you it for them in a non-violent way. You should link together physically and block the entrances to Wall St. offices. The suits have to get in so by definition there will always be entrances where people leave the public street and enter the private sphere. Those entrances should be your target for non-violent resistence. Now is the time to act calmly, lovingly and tactically in a non-violent way. All at once, by linking together calmly and peacefully you'll show your goodness and reveal their oppression. They're not equipped to handle 30, 50, 100, 300 people connected in a human chain. "We are shutting down Wall St. for a day so America and the rest of the world can breathe for a day, be free of the plutocracy for a day, be free of the exploitation for a day, be free of the greed for a day. Some people will say 'What good is a day?' and our response is that it's a pretty good start. If someone has their foot on your neck for years and years and you non-violently force that foot to be removed for a day, that allows you breathing room for all sorts of options." If you link up 30, 75, 300 people or more at each of the entrances by zip tying together, you will essentially create the largest traffic jam in New York history and you'll shut down Wall Street for a day. No one will be able to get into Wall St., including the suits. This tactic of non-violent resistance will work. You have the world stage. But that's not enough. You need to use the methods of non-violent provocation to bring corruption and greed of the corporate interests out into the light of day. King and his supporters blocked streets, occupied lunch counters and did whatever it took to force the hand of their oppressor while the world looked on. Gandhi beat the British in a bed sheet by simply working with his supporters to call the bluff of their oppressors. "You're saying we can't make salt? That it's illegal? OK, we're going to make salt. Thousands of us. It confounded the British empire because they couldn't arrest them all. Gandhi and King weren't just incredible moral and religious leaders. They were also EXPERTS at non-violent provocation. And their adversaries were absolutely confounded by this. It wasn't an accident that the press was always there as the oppressor was revealing his true colors. It was deliberate. Y'all need to use this toolkit. It works. You have the stage. But that's not enough. You need to take strategic action to provoke a response on the world stage. Shut down Wall St. for a day using non-violent resistence! It works. It's not hard to find where the entrances are. They can't hide them. And once hundreds of you are linked together in a human chain, they won't be able to deal with it. No one will be able to get in. And this will end up on the front pages of newspapers around the world. Then more will join you. It is your bold non-violent resistance of blocking the entrance to the center of the world's corporate power that will grow your movement's momentum exponentially.

I dont think they have the numbers to do that sir, but when they do it would be the way to go.

With their present numbers what they can do is what I describe here https://occupywallst.org/article/Day9/ a Brick and Mortar Denial of Service Operation.

Well, they are everywhere, aren't they, so I see the mainstream media as an front where we should begin our struggle, when we win that battle, its practicly a victory (not much diference in my country, any). Its the only way, I think.

Main goal should not be establish new economic system, its too hard to do "over the night". We are confronting here with criminal oligarhy that don't respect any laws, don't respect nature, don't respect anything. Their frauds should be reaveled one by one, and they should be reaveled on main TV stations. (9/11 fraud, debts and money frauds etc.) So, the goal should be to bring the TRUTH to the media, and thus the criminal actions shell crumble. That's how it should start, and than bring those criminals to justice. Crucial is to free those main medias from corporate hands, by bringing protests before main TV media buildings, and demand to broadcast material that reveals the frauds, have some guests , like Moore, like many of them, on the main news.

We should shut down Wall Street. For at least a day. More than 70 percent of increases in corporate profit since 2001 have come through depressed wages. The greed of the 1 percent has completely eclipsed the welfare and well being of the 99 percent and if we don't stop this and return to a sane and responsible system, who will?

The goal should be to 'transcend' wall street -

We shouldn't "shut down" wallstreet. Not all corporations are bad.
