I believe OWS should reach out to progressive Democrats, trade unionists, minorities, progressive clergy, and anyone else willing to sign onto the goal of smashing the unnprecidented conglomeration of wealth and power in this country. Our movement is by no means great enough to exclude anybody who genuinely supports our goals. It is those who don't genuinely support our goals; who want to coopt or destroy this movement that we must shun. There is no substitute for becoming sufficiently educated to know the difference between these groups.

This movement seems to be increasingly wrapped up in the pointless endeavor of laying blame, rather than effecting change. Change comes through recognizing our mutual humanity. Those trying to stir division appear to be getting the upper hand. I have heard every group in this country blamed for current circumstances and it probably won't be long before the members of Occupy are blaming each other. We need a deeper spiritual vision than that, one that is inclusive rather than exclusive. In the end it will only be us, each one of us, individually, who believes they are pure enough to belong to this movement, and then we will have the satisfaction of being self-riteous loosers. I've seen all that before. I will come back to this movement if people are capable of framing a spititually deeper, more inclusive and forgiving vision. In the mean time, I'm out.
