seriously given the current trends there wont even be a thanksgiving in 5 years. I am not even someone with a family of my own. but let me say it's insane we would stand for this in any fashion 30 years ago these places would have been boycotted out of existence by parenting groups what gives today?
Mass insanity? A dodge on having to consider reality?
i think it just highlights how far our social fabric has unraveled. fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, wives, husbands, will be working instead of with their family. and those who are parents will be missing quality time with their families. its a little crazy imho. there are only a handful of days a year where people can spend time together as it is.
And yet great masses of people will be waiting for those store doors to open. Perhaps I am mistaken and this year will be different and people will not crowd the doors to be the 1st to enter into materialism land. That Would be GR8 people staying home and "spending time" with their families. That would be such a positive thing to see happen - such a positive sign that we the people are ready to address some real change in society. A healthy change.
But the progressive generation IS both thanksgivingless and christmasless... so wtf?
