The hosting has been moved. So who owns it now? Will they clean out the shills, or do the shills now own it? Just wondering. Inquiring minds want to know.

Justine has moved the site to her own server. This is what caused the links at the top to break. She forgot to reconfigured the site. NS1.LOBSTERTECH.COM is most likely the same nameserver used for her blog: http://lobstertech.com/
The admin organization of the site has changed. It is now The Occupy Solidarity Network, Inc., a company founded by Justine. She is the director. On her LinkedIn site http://www.linkedin.com/in/jtunney She describes the following:

"First person to start organizing an international grassroots social movement. Responsible for web and social media destinations like OccupyWallSt.org, @OccupyWallSt, etc. Raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the movement."
What does this mean for this site? Not much I believe. It's technically more her site than before. Registered under her company name marking her as director. However, even if the site was once owned by Occupy, she always acted like the director. Essentially, the site is now officially hers and no longer officially the community's.
This site was never transparent. The moderators were always hidden except for one, and jart barely ever posted here. There's no transparency because it's not a community run website, made for the community by the community.
Most news articles, if not all, are also written by jart. They are always marked as anonymous. It makes the movement seem bigger and more active. Transparency was never a forte for Occupy. It was always one of the biggest problems. It affected donations a whole lot during the first few months.

Just a forum user like you, expressing ideas. I don't claim to speak for anyone else, just myself. The problem with this site's transparency is that it is being advertised as news from Occupy, when it is in fact news articles written by jart. This is not correct in my opinion. People should not write under the Occupy name and pretend it represents the whole movement.

I rarely, if ever, insult others here. If you think I do, post some examples. Iv'e posted and commented on many serious issues directly related to Occupy. Most of your comments seem like orchestrated mob attacks on my person. You often attack in tandem with GF or DKAtoday when he is not sick like today. Iv'e noticed you use these same mob attack tactics against many new users as well. Are you against free speech? Are you the forum prosecutor? What's up?

I did, but I wasn't the one who posted it.
They don't bother me at all. I only care about the ideas being posted, not who posts them. I don't need to know a person's name, username, or other information about them to read their ideas. If I had programmed this forum, I wouldn't even show usernames with comments. I would just put anonymous every time. This would encourage people to reply to good ideas, and ignore bad ones. People would talk about ideas instead of attacking the users they decided not to like. Ideas are what will be remembered, the user vs user attacks. Those are meaningless.
I have thought that many many times. I see far too much prejudice and petty bickering and protests to ill-perceived insults, and far too little real ideas, with real solutions!!!
