When I read about the plan to shut down the subways and shut down Wall Street, I think about the histories that I read regarding The 1968 democratic convention. Perhaps I am mistaken, but I fail to see any other outcome than police battling protestors and the message being lost. I am a libertarian-leaning Republican and I have no love lost for your movement, but I appreciate, again, the fact that thoughtful dialogue will hopefully lead to changes at the local level that will be constructive toward the nation. But if rioting occurs, then I hope to see some of you cleaning the highways in my town.

The message of the 1968 Democratic convention was not lost. There were mountains of lies and distortions, but in this day and age, people are proud of the protesters there and not the cops or the PTB
