Such a shameless belief in American exceptionalism.

As though there are no other countries in the entire World.

well, it's like the first document says, the toxicity occurs days later, so obviously the Canadians never noticed . . .

.

Kinda makes you wonder . . .

  • how the hell did we ever learn to stop planting the dead next to the water source?
[-] 1 points by shooz (26668) 1 month ago

We didn't.

any more than we learned not to store poisons near them.

Just don't feed the firemen.

You can get fired for that kind of thing, when you are "on your own", talking to management without representation.

Union YES!

can of worms . . . I guess so. Cops aren't supposed to receive freebees like that. Firemen don't face the same conflict of interest issues.

There should be a store policy over something like that. Probably will be now.

In any case, I can't imagine a better reason to get fired, although there probably are several. I'm sure in short order she will be raking in a decent paycheck somewhere else. I note the article indicates several job offers already, and likely most of them offer much more than she was getting at McDs.

That was why she figured It would be OK, they did from time to time feed the police.

Maybe the boss was feeding them aspartame?

[-] 1 points by ZenDog (20508) from South Burlington, VT 1 month ago

hard to say for sure just what the boss was up to - but that does create the appearance of corruption, hence the can of worms I'm sure.

It's not like people are going to stop going to Micky D's over it, or anything, though the guy that fired her, might get the same.

The big MD's will have to make a corporate decision on the matter.

They will be forced to act, as a matter of spin control PR.

it all goes back to his hand outs to the cops and how that may affect McD corporate.

For all we know the feds may be crawling all over this, and if there happens to be anything else hidden in the woodwork or not, Corporate won't like contemplating even the possibility I'm sure.

Can of worms - it's a can alright. And people are freakin.

She'll be fine of course, and that's the main thing.

LOL. Her boss called it a bee's nest, so scared he couldn't remember the word hive.

Heads will roll and press releases will be released!

Hopefully?

More firemen will get some free food after a day of fire fighting........:)

it's stupid McDonald's, but what the hey.

Use Stevia. Just make sure they haven't put a bunch of additives into it. Some brands do that. Best to get it at your local health food store.

so I guess that means that if I register I will never be granted - what are they called? . . . additional permissions . . .

I already know what that means - it means my behaivor will be incentivized.

I'm sure my behavior is already bad enough as it is and really needs no further incentives

  • but thanks anyway
