What about independent candidates for every seat including the white house ... A shock and awe of elections ... Would people be down to make it happen ? Could we go around the mainstream .... Could we just kick them all out ?
We do have another option: co-opting the Big Two at the local and regional level by throwing OWSers in the primaries of whatever party historically takes a representative district (Democrats in NY, Republicans in Georgia, etc.) against the establishment candidates. Independent and third/fourth/fifth-party candidates are nice but rarely if ever get enough mileage to hold local office, let alone national office. I'm down with that, since obviously the incumbent parties have failed America.
