We need a financial fire wall between our government leaders and Wall Street! If we feel we can't trust the church then why are we so trusting of big greedy corporations??? Really, are they more trust worthy??? God Save America!
Your absolutely right - we need to make campaign donations and paid lobbying illegal.
People have been saying this same thing for years. I hope that the OWS movements can get the money, lobbyists and special interest groups out of Washington.
Just my opinion. If we don't then every thing the OWS protests accomplish will be undone by the elites when they start throwing piles of money at our politicians again.
You hit in on the head. They will just start filling them with exemptions and loop holes to the point that the original reforms are meaningless. Spread the word with everyone you talk to - reforms without structural change is next to meaningless.

Neither church not business should interfere with affairs of the state. The church tells you to be selfless, business tells you to be selfish. We don't need interference upon our basic humanity anymore from either side. We already have both selflessness and selfishness inside all of us.
Amend to separate business from government!
