Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary signed a strategic agreement with Iran sending a strong message to the world that any attack on Iran would be tantamount to an attack on Russia.

No war on Iran, stop World War Three.

President Obama stating that Russia is more isolated than Cold War times.

Really? Because last I checked they just teamed up with the other 4 up and coming countries to form a new banking system outside of the West.

So if the USA and Europe are now at odds with Asia, Africa and South America, who is the isolated one?

And more importantly, if the SHTF moment comes, which countries are going to be hungry to rebuild, get their hands dirty and do what it takes? Thats where the money will end up.

Buckle up, its almost October.

sadly obama is being fed info by the usual suspects - and they really do not know what is going on. it is not only up and coming nations that russia is allied economically with - "A new rail freight route between Zhengzhou in China and Hamburg in Germany has seen the first train make the 10,214km journey. Operated by the city Zhengzhou and DB Schenker, the rail route passed through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Poland on its way to Germany, doing so in a record time of 15 days. The route has opened up the opportunities for rail freight activity between Europe and the Asian market, which is pivotal at a time when Chinese goods traffic is on the increase.

Very true.

On another note, I do love all these right wing nuts talking about how Obama is weak. Apparently they dont remember the full scale war and invasion by Russia of Georgia while boy George was in office.

exactly - i assume they do remember but would rather not. that said i do not blame russia for that dust up or the violence in ukraine. putin is more reasonable and responsible than our potus. not saying he is a nice guy or that i would want to live there but on the international scene he is doing a better job keeping the world from spinning out of control. not sure what our government is thinking (we will know in 25 years when they declassify the docs) but we have done our best through two administrations (and both parties) to make much of the middle east ungovernable

Nice to see Russia trying to stop war. It should be a crime, after all.

[-] 1 points by Spankysmojo (849) 12 years ago

You're right. We should attack Russia first so that they can't interfere with an attack on Iran.

[-] 1 points by zorno (386) 12 years ago

Wouldn't that result in mutually assured destruction?

[-] 1 points by Spankysmojo (849) 12 years ago

that's what the Russians want you to think. Their missiles go up and down, not across. So, non mutual, only self destruction on their part. remember communists were paid for no work. Their Migs and tanks and missiles, no good.

Its a trick, the Russians probably want to lure us in to invading their country, then they'll launch their horizontally challenged missiles and kill us all.

You are one of the few who gets it. It's all scare tactics. If it's real and we die...oh we're gonna die anyway.

The last economic crisis as big as this one was the great depression, which was followed by world war two. It is no stretch of the imagination to think that this crisis could entail another world war.

more likely revolutions will start against banks and government austerities then a world war 3.
