Forum Post: Rumor Control: Koch Brothers statue on Mt. Rushmore a HOAX!

Ok, the rumor that the Koch brothers have paid 100 million dollars each, and are planning on erecting 100' tall bronze statues of themselves standing on the top of Mt. Rushmore are false. Other plans that they intend to erect fracking wells on Roosevelt's head are also on hold, although nobody was requested to comment on the vague concern that it might be necessary in the future. Apparently, this was deemed to be a semi-elaborate hoax, created by me, and in decidedly poor taste. One imaginary resident of the local Native American reservation, who asked to remain nameless said "Now you know how we felt..."
