Forum Post: "Republic, Lost" by Lawrence Lessig

Man what a book! I finished reading it a little while ago. The full title is "Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Congress - and a plan to stop it". It is a very recent book, which discusses the fallout from the recent "Citizens United" Supreme Court case. If you ever wondered why we can't seem to ever get any meaningful reform enacted, read this book and you will know why. If you have ever had the feeling that congress is bought and paid for by special interest, read this book and have your suspicions put to rest.

We need a congress that is "dependent upon the people alone."
