Plame was a CIA agent in the field working in a dummy corp set up with agents in the field to investigate illegal arms for oil dealings..... in retaliation for her husbands refusal to lie about yellow cake and give the Bush administration phony evidence that it was being smuggled into Iraq, they outed his wife Plame and all agents in the field outed as a consequence their mission was aborted ....who is in jail for life now for this ?...can we even say the media went after them as they have with Manning, Assange, or Snowden ?...protect the public with whistleblower information they will take you ....out but out CIA agents who protect our safety from those who would sell or buy weapons to dangerous regimes.... hmmm....guess they don't care According to Libby's testimony, "the Vice President later advised him that the President had authorized defendant to disclose the relevant portions of the NIE [to Judith Miller]."[38 http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerie_Plame

We won't ever know what she was investigating at the time possible Saudi arms for oil trades or Iran ... she can not reveal it but surely given the actions of those who outed her it would seem they did not want her investigation to continue given Wilson's background retaliation seems only a part if this given the Bush family ties to the Saudii oil industry hmmm America your president's business partners are trading oil for arms...probably would have lead to impeachment
