Forum Post: Relying on Leadership in Things that Don't Require It

People have got to wake up to this scam that has been pulled on them, and start realizing every community can take care of themselves fine. Want to create a set of rules democratically? Great. Go for it. Try it out. Get involved. Have a say.

Stop relying on criminals to make your lives better.

Have you followed the money in N. Carolina yet?

I'll bet you haven't.

Actually, it's not there.

You FAIL again.

There's a name involved. A name that paid the money.

So the question remains, as always.

Did YOU (operative term) follow the money in N. Carolina yet?

Can you cash the check your BIG mouth wrote?

Or will you continue to shirk?

I find it amusing that trolls come out to your defense.

Thanks for helping out and posting that. I guess it's true what they say, many hands make light shirk.

I think its going senile. It acts as if the rich buying legislation and elections are something its just discovered all on its own.

But then again, the entire pet-names obsession does show how ego can get in the way of thought.

It's pretty much a perfect example of objectivism- a creature acting in its own interest regardless of the happenings around it. Which is ironic. because a good deal of its time here is complaining about Ayn Rand and objectivism!! haha.

Scary thing is, there are more of him.

"We’re witnessing the gospel of Ayn Rand destroying a gospel of solidarity. We’ve got every man and woman for themselves, while the bosses divide and conquer. I’ve got mine and good luck getting yours. Selfishness has edged out shared destiny"

and the media reinforces it with cutthroat TV reality shows..voting somebody off the island, making aliiances until the time comes to break them. Fear vs. Love..

I think the world is too small for this kind of head. We are already seeing the effects of this. Small municipalities, having lost federal funds, take their mentally ill and poor and stick them on a bus out of town. Those areas with social services are then inundated from other communities....NC is turning back the clock on civil rights. They have elected the people to do this..They have exercised their democratic right to oppress the poor and minorities...on the party thing?? i vote green.

"Republicrats". That pretty well sums things up.

Unfortunately, they are so firmly entrenched, what can we really do?
