Would you rather buy your groceries at the DMV or Wal-Mart? Which has a higher customer satisfaction rating?
Most people who advocate socialism aren't advocating for a state controlled economy. There are other institutions capable of economic administration beside corporations and/or states.
I hate to brake it for you, but DMV does not sell groceries ;)
Try to purchase your driver licence in Wal-Mart
I'd be stoked if Walmart sold driver's licenses. I'd prefer a local establishment but either way that would be one less occasion for the state to coerce money out of my pocket for fear of prosecution. I'd probably only be doing it for cheaper insurance rates at that point as well... winning.
