It would be more effective to protest at the homes of John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan over the holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, until they go back to Washington.
I love this movement, I am so inspired by it. I am n the message list in Occupy Buffalo. But, disappointingly, a friend told me he posted something about OWS not actually delaying wall st opening bell..which I ave not scanned the news tonight enough to figure out...but his comment got him BANNED. No profanity or insults, just a little off the cuff though I think. I am really disappointed.
Actually people could act in every state across the nation to confront the actual current members of Congress who materially caused the 2008 economic crash.
Here is a list of all current members of Congress who, in 1999, voted to repeal Glass-Steagall. This vote did more to cause the collapse of America than anything else. 235 current members of Congress voted for the repeal. Some in every state. Just the people who need to be confronted by the 99%.
