This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Sent this day 7/30/2012 An Open Letter Addressed to The President of the United States of America and to all of the currently seated members of Government and to all of the citizens of the USA to the people of the world and to all governments. Please Handle and deliver/share as you would a letter delivered by the USPS.

Mr. President and all currently seated members of Government and to all the citizens of the USA, to the governments and people of the world.

1st let me state that these letters I send to you I also send out on social media to all of the citizens of the USA to read as well - and I suppose it could be considered as open letters to the world also.

Anyway today's subject: Time and long past time that the Errant Children in Office ( elected representatives ) should be called to order by their Parents ( The People ).

Absolutely - the people need to retake their government - own it - own the process of government like they have never done before. This requires the people to get involved in campaigns like Move to Amend - the removal of personhood from corpoRATions. Continuing in the same vein/manner/method to get things like OSTA done and the end of fossil fuel subsides and the implementation of green power tech and green fuel tech.

Support issues or oppose issues. But absolutely get the corpoRATists out of office.

Involvement in government - ownership of government - does not begin and end in the election of representatives.

The Children in office right now need a good spanking and a time out.

The Parents of this Country ( The People ) need to do some real parenting - discipline their children ( elected representatives ) - give them a good talking to about morals. ethics, good fellowship ( playing well with others ), responsibility, accountability, health, and prosperity. The parents ( The People ) need to monitor who their Children ( elected representatives ) are playing with and keep them away from bad influences - Juvenile Delinquents ( CorpoRATions ).

The Parents ( The People ) need to show their children ( elected representatives ) the way. Put their foot down and lay down the rules in no uncertain terms. Educate the children ( elected officials ) about good habits and practices.

OSTA - one subject at a time legislation - for clarity of purpose and to keep crap from slipping past.

CorpoRATions are not people.

Money out of politics - remove conflict of interest / Bribes.

End subsidies for fossil fuel - and use the subsides for the implementation of green infrastructure = Wind turbines, Solar cells ( YES But More ) Thorium Reactors/power plants, Liquid Metal Batteries for efficient storage ( reduce loss ) of electricity as well as efficient supply of electricity on demand. But there is even more - hydrogen fuel cells for use as fuel for transportation - cars - trucks - Buses etc. Green technology Housing and Buildings and Industry ( see the Hopewell Project ). End Pollution Tech And Pollution Fuel - end the use of fossil fuel.

Stop Fracking ( polluting the environment air/land/water ).

Stop Coal Mining and Coal burning ( polluting the environment air/land/water Arsenic Mercury CO assorted heavy metals etc ) toxic ash dumps.

Stop Oil Drilling on land and water ( polluting the environment air/land/water ).

Stop outsourcing of work from the USA to sweatshops around the world for profits over people. Make it just as expensive to bring outsourced products into the USA as it would have been to make those products here ( taxes tariffs ).

Require a living wage for all workers ( every single entry level job / every single job ) get people who work off of the need for government aid - food stamps transportation clothing housing assistance etc

Close tax loopholes on the wealthy - individuals and businesses.

This and so much more We The People ( The Parents in this situation ) need to see that Government ( The Errant Children in this situation ) does.

Here in utah, the supreme court said that "peoples opinion" isnt allowed to be put on the ballot, after people signed for an ammendment saying the corporations are not people, and money isnt free speech.

Sounds like they need a good spanking and a time out. I understand that supreme court appointments are for life - but I have also heard that they can be impeached. The way I have heard it is - it takes one member of congress to make the impeachment motion.

Also don't supreme court justices take an oath of office? I am wondering if they can be challenged for not upholding their oath.

Writing "open letters" to corporate puppet politicians is a not only a waste of time for both writer and readers but also counterproductive for our cause. Here are just a few reasons why:

(1) Politicians rarely if ever read letter and emails received directly from their constituents much less "open letters" posted to web forums like this one.

(2) Even if they read the letter, the fact that you addressed it to them reinforces that they have the power and you do not - that they are the master and you are the serf. By subjugating yourself, you empower them.

(3) Posting "open letters" encourages other slacktivists to post "open letters" thinking that they make a difference, when in the vast majority of cases they are nothing more than feel-good mental masturbation.

Learn more about impotent slacktivism here:

You are entitled to your apathetic belief or is it your attempt to have people continue to opt-out of getting involved?

The letters as I have stated before while addressed to the government they are also addressed to the public to the world for consideration.

I really do not care if the government reads and/or responds to the letters. They are getting them anyway.

By sharing them with the public on social media I intend to allow people to read them and make their own decisions about what is going on and maybe they will want to write letters of their own to be read or not read by government - but shared with the public/world for their consideration. This expression of thoughts may start to tell on government as the mail they are sent increases. But even if it does not the exercise of venting communicating may well inspire people to get more involved.

Writing "open letters" to corporate puppet politicians and posting them to forums like this is not only a complete waste of writer's and readers' time but also counterproductive. Here are just a few reasons why:

(1) Politicians rarely read the letters and emails sent to them by their constituents, and likely never see those that are posted to forums.

(2) Even if they read this letter - which is unlikely - by writing to them in this manner you reinforce that they have the power and you don't - that they are the master and you are the serf. You empower them by subjugating yourself.

(3) Other slacktivists seeing such letters posted to forums like this may be encouraged to write and post similar letters thinking that they make a difference, when the reality is they are little more than feel-good mental masturbation. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply permalink ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply edit delete permalink

And yet you concern yourself with as you say - My Waste Of Time - Because you are altruistic?

Um I don't think so.

You attack me and my posts and comments because you fear that others will see the truth and sense in them and start getting involved.

Otherwise you would leave me alone instead of stalking my comments and posts.

Nothing I wrote favors apathy or "opting out" of getting involved, liar:

YOU are the one who is not involved, DKAtoday, although you work hard to project otherwise. Your "open letters" serve no positive purpose for all the reasons I listed above, none of which are negated by your trollish blathering. ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply permalink ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply edit delete permalink ↥twinkle ↧stinkle reply edit delete permalink

I said nothing about the veracity of your "open letters". Instead I pointed out that they are a counterproductive waste of time. Also, they do not qualify you as "being involved", DKAtoday. You're not even in the loop...

WHY "DKATODAY" SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE OCCUPY WALL STREET FORUM & OWS MOVEMENT

According to this document, the Occupy Wall Street forum is infested with pro-regime partisan propagandists, and "DKAtoday" is one of their leaders:

http://pastebin.com/9bLFYdFZ

The former assertion is irrefutable, but the latter we question. If DKAtoday is an Obamapologist plant like Factsrfun admits he is, he is not a very good one. Virtually all of his posts are either impotent and uninspiring slacktivism or the ad hominem personal attacks of a troll. A troll DKAtoday certainly is, but a planted propagandist perhaps not.

DKAtoday is a liar, not a leader. We have seen that evidenced in exchanges like this one:

BUSTED! DKAtoday claimed he was too broke to drive 500 miles to Chicago for the NATO protests, but admits here he has plenty of cash for 32-inch monitors and Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Beds. If there is an award for wannabes/posers, the lying little Prick wins it hands down!

http://occupywallst.org/forum/raise-the-minimum-wage-to-10-an-hour/#comment-757926

BUSTED AGAIN! DKAtoday claimed he bought a PC in 2002 that CAME with a 32-inch monitor? Scan and post the invoice, LIAR. 32-inch LCD monitors weren't mass-marketed before 2005.

http://occupywallst.org/forum/raise-the-minimum-wage-to-10-an-hour/#comment-757934

BUSTED YET AGAIN! In one post DKAtoday claimed claimed the 32-inch monitor came with the PC he bought in 2002. He now says he did not take the monitor that came with that PC. So was Dan lying THEN or is he lying NOW? There is no third alternative.

When challenged DKAtoday displays cowardice, not courage. If he feels threatened on the forum, he runs to moderator Jart and seeks to hide behind her skirts. If he perceives the threat to be IRL, he labels the alleged actor as a "terrorist" and openly calls for him or her to be arrested and done away with by Big Brother's modern-day Gestapo, e.g.:

"[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (9870) from Coon Rapids, MN 9 minutes ago"

"Yeah? well whoever the hell you have been bothering I hope has contacted the police and I hope they track you down - FBI - federal offense - you may get disappear'ed for being a terrorist under the determination of Homeland Security laws."

http://occupywallst.org/forum/abuse-report-sent-to-the-forum-site/#comment-776267

I ask you: Would any true believer in what Occupy Wall Street stands for wish such a fate on anyone? Would any real revolutionary? Would any principled activist?

OF COURSE NOT.

These are the words of a Quisling collaborator, not an OWS protester or supporter. Arrest calls like DKAtoday's are made by fearmongering fascists, not fearless freedom fighters. They have no place in our forum - or our movement.

This is why DKAtoday should be permanently banned from both.

You should be banned for this cut & pasted, off topic, Troll work.

You've been banned so much. Why do you bother? Do I have to inform the Moderators again?

I am independent. I support Pres Obama since he is Vastly different and better than the repubs.

Are you supporting Romney?

[-] 1 points by LetsGetReal (1420) from Grants, NM 11 years ago

Which non-Dems do you support?

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

why? Who do you support?

[-] 1 points by LetsGetReal (1420) from Grants, NM 11 years ago

You said you were an Independent, which surprised me, so I naturally wondered if there are any non-Dems you like and/or plan to vote for?

I support Rocky Anderson for president, Martin Heinrich for Senate, and I am undecided on other races at this time.

[-] 3 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

"Surprised.....naturally wondered"? Or just looking for a little ammo for a personal attack? Lets see.

My rep is of the working families party (caucuses w/ dems) I love Bernie Sanders (also vote w/ dems). Voted for Nader (Green party, so progressive) I like J. Stein (Green party).

I believe the solution to our problems are progressive policies.

Why does my being registered independent surprise you?

Who do you support?

It's a blog written by an idiot, so why bother?

I saw it once and that was more than enough.

Have you come up with your answer to the 900+ yet?

[-] -1 points by vvv0729 (-189) 11 years ago

"900+" WHAT? 900+1 = 901.

Any more stupid questions, shooz?

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

A liar calling anyone else a liar, is a hypocrite, and you vvv**, are a liar.

So much for the veracity of you.

I'm quite sure you haven't come up with the 900+ yet, so lie on bozo.

[-] -3 points by vvv0729 (-189) 11 years ago

You call everyone liars, rarely post any support for your accusations, and have never supported any of your accusations against me. You have no credibility.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Nah. I just asked you to prove yourself and you couldn't do it.

Never even came close.

You misrepresent yourself.

C'mon big guy, where's the proof?

Where's the 900+?

Did you forget, what was said?

Yes, of course you did.

[-] -2 points by vvv0729 (-189) 11 years ago

Like you, I have no idea what you are talking about, shooz. Unlike you, however, I couldn't care less...

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

We already know you don't care Bruce.

We also know you don't know what you are talking about.

Your pointless repetitions make that clear.

You are a forgetful fool.

That much we know.
