LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police launched a massive manhunt Thursday for a former Los Angeles officer suspected of killing a couple over the weekend and opening fire on four officers early Thursday, killing one and critically wounding another, authorities said.
The search for Christopher Dorner, who was fired from the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008 for making false statements, began after he was linked to the weekend killing in which one of the victims was the daughter of a former police captain who had represented him during those disciplinary proceedings.
Early Thursday, police came under fire in two separate shootings in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles.
Hours later, Los Angeles officers guarding a “target” named in an online posting by Dorner shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It’s not clear if the target is a person or a location.

I read this guys “manifesto” yesterday. Reminded me of Ted Kaczynski’s unibomber manifesto. This cop (ex-cop) just thinks he can right the wrongs done to him by killing innocent people. Probably not much Chuck. Here's where I take issue with the NRA and their excuse of needing weapons to defend themselves from government take over. Where the hell was the NRA with all their guns when President Bush was obliterating our constitution, legalizing spying on American citizens, encouraging bad lending, arresting people for making 50 gallons of biodiesel? Where in the hell was the NRA protecting America from crony capitalism that has destroyed the integrity and sovereignty of their precious nation? Where was the NRA when a wild man on a shooting spree in Alabama began terrorizing a neighborhood and shooting at anyone he could? As I recall, everyone just watched and all those spectators had guns. The NRA members of this country will be the last line of defense since most of them will be huddled together in their cave shelters with hundreds of guns and tons of ammo.
That said, I don't agree that the government is going to regulate guns any better than it regulates anything else. Besides, guns aren't the problem. So, I believe all this mumbo jumbo about gun control, etc.. is just another excuse to generate more revenue while appeasing the American citizens and will not result anything that benefits anyone.

However,this piece I posted is about the Government arming up with billions in new ammo and "personal defense weapons" ie: AR-15's while they are simultaneously trying to ban these "assault weapons" from private American ownership.
The hypocrisy reeks of a truly evil plot to fuck Americans hard.
