It's a picture of Retired Philadelphia Police Captain Ray Lewis, in full dress uniform, in cuffs.
And the next one is an image of him holding high a sign that reads: *‘NYPD don’t be Wall St mercenaries’.

I think this site should consider posting a photo of the day on the main page, images that are iconographic and get us all to think.
In this case it illustrates that we can indeed cross any socio-political boundary, any divide that separates the 99 into isolated and controllable segments.
technically he is not supposed to be in uniform unless on duty
Well, he is retired.
And I'll bet no one would object to his wearing it in a 4th of July parade.
He took a bit of a risk, wearing that uniform, carrying a protest sign, placing himself smack dab in the middle of no man's land in so doing.
I have tremendous respect for him. And the images clearly demonstrate that we are all in this together - there is no us or them.
There is all of us.
