Forum Post: OWS Win's if We the People Fail, We the People Can Only Win if We Defund the Cop & Prison Unions

Today the battle is good versus evil.

The good is the little people fighting out of control 'unbridled capitalism'. The Capitalists have the police & prison in their power, because they control the prison unions and see to it generous pensions and salary's are passed their way.

Without the Prisons and Cops the Capitalists could never Win the War, but with the Cops & Prisons on the side of the OBAMA-BANKER's (DIMON) there is no hope of winning any kind of street battle whether confrontational or not.

The OWS is only a front to protect Public Unions and re-elect Obama 2012.

The little people fighting global capitalism, ran from the USA police-state must defund this monster if they wish to win the war. Once the cops no longer have the best pay and pensions then they'll no longer be in a superior position. Today the Capitalists have setup the perfect sustainable system. So long as the US government can print worthless Federal Reserve Notes and pass them off to Prison Industry and Cops, the Capitalists have COMPLETE control of the masses of the World, not just the USA.

OWS is our enemy, the public employee unions are our enemy, and all the cop shops and prisons and everyone employed by such.

We must work to defund this Prison Industrial Complex, ... otherwise the War will NEVER be won.

You are a boring predictable OWS BOT.

You promised you would leave. Keep that promise.

[-] 0 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

I left then came back, ... My promise is still from the heart, I can tell you that working with you folks is really fucking boring.

[-] 2 points by epa1nter (4650) from Rutherford, NJ 12 years ago

I'm glad you're bored, "working with" us. (That is, if spouting inanities and hatred is what you call working.

No one is keeping you here. Go somewhere and have some excitement.

TROLL ALERT!!!

No, jerk off, you and your RepubliCONs are the enemy!!

[-] -1 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

I hate Republican's and I hate Democrat's. I hate all clubs.

I'm a life long anarchist. Your a bot, or otherwise you would have something to add to the debate other than talk of trolls, jerking-off,and or Republican scum-bags.

What is it with you fucking people, that like to reduce everything in the world to left and right?

It's not about left or right or pug vs dem, its ALL about fucking CORRUPTION.

The USA is a criminal kleptocracy.

You live in PDX? You have a bike, live with 10 people in a flat? Or are you part of the fucking problem?

Why do you coddle the Pigs? Why do you support your brothers rotting in prison? This isn't a fucking joke.

[-] 1 points by JIFFYSQUID92 (-994) from Portland, OR 12 years ago

OK, you and Groucho Marx have something in common.

You're = you are!

Answer: Because I'm not a newbie, or naive enough to call myself an anarchist. Though I feel the frustration.

There's a song you might have access to, Unite and Win by Sham 69. It might communicate what my words might miss. And another one, Five to One by the Doors.

They have the guns (money), bet we have the numbers (votes). Votes trump money, it's why they spend so much on elections.

You can find fault in and therefore rail against EVERYTHING. Perfection only exists in lies and delusions. In EVERYTHING we do we choose the lesser evil. Sorry. That's reality.

The only way to effect change in America is through [our less than perfect form of] democracy, which means politics and government. No political party is perfect either, not one. RepubliCONs have descended below an American political party. They have evolved into a cult, and their Charlie Manson is the greed-addled few in the 1% like the Koch Bros. Dems aren't perfect, but their not a cult.

There are many good Dems, like Alan Grayson. Until a better party, with equal infrastructure comes along, and you want to put the people as priority in this country, Dems are all we have. With participation ~ democracy is not a spectator sport ~ we can shape the Democratic Party into something closer to what we want. Bitch at it and it will continue to ignore you.

We have to team up. We have to organize. We have to register and vote.

Organization (not just money) is how the 1% controls and dominates the 99%. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is when the 99% refuses to organize, team up, unite and use the power we have in numbers, and is defeated again and again by a greedy few in the 1%.

While we bitch, they laugh.

Unite and Win! Unite and Win! 2010 Never EVER Again!!

ok, good shit, glad to see a Portland brother with spirit, ... maybe we can have a beer sometime at the lab

I'm a real anarchist and have been so my entire life, I follow the Malcolm-X school of thought that USA-Democracy is Hypocrisy. Both the DEM&PUG party's are 100% assholes and part of the problem and not any part of the solution.

At this point in my life my feeling is that NO good can come of the USA, I'm a supporter of "Ecotopia", the notion that the Pacific Northwest Secede from the USA, and get on with a new nation state. But honestly the DC belt and east coast in general and California are too far gone with parasites,

The good news is there is a coming civil-war, and it will cleanse and bankrupt this nation, and out of the ashes will come the new Nation of "Ecotopia".

No frustration on my part, ... no need to be an anarchist for frustration, I'm an anarchist, because its the only political ideology I ever identified in my youth upon reading the complete works of Emma Goldman, the godmother of USA anarchism

Regarding 'organization' I prefer to remind people to learn history, study how MAO rid China of the USA menace, ... Study the USA revolution and understand that less than 5% participated. Understand that it only takes a few men to change the world.

You do know they are monitoring this BIG TIME??

Beer is good. Bikes too.

Black Panthers were organized.

Reading is good. The only book that comes to mind for you is A Star Called Henry. Drink more beer and take a step back and observe the situation from beyond. Listen to Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes and Thom Hartmann.

Realize that compromise is one of our best survival tactics. Survival of the fittest is ongoing.

Good luck

It's not survival of the fittest.

It's survival of the adaptable.

[-] 0 points by JIFFYSQUID92 (-994) from Portland, OR 12 years ago

Adaptable or flexible?

Which ever, survival determines the fittest.

Let's be smart. And survive.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 12 years ago

Survival of the adaptable, is Darwin"s theory in a nut shell.

It's very applicable in a fast changing World.

The rigid will falter.

Monitoring? Shit, my bet is they're running this forum as a honey pot to collect IP's and candidates for all those new concentration camps that DHS is building.

Ever wonder why OWS is ran from Canada ( vancouver-BC )? Cuz its illegal for the CIA to run this kind of shit on USA soil, but completely legal to have it contracted outside.

Survival is only possible if your NOT living in the USA in the next 5 years, just something to think about. Nobody survives a civil war unless they're not there.

[-] -2 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

Support OWS Public Prison Unions.

[-] -2 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

Prison Unions Love OWS.

[-] -3 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

Fraternal Order of Police, the union representing prison guards, agrees that the move will save money, but says private firms save money by being less safe.

Biggest fucking ASSHOLE in the OWS world, the FOP.

The FOP is the #1 sponsor of team-ows.

[-] -3 points by owsleader2038 (-10) 12 years ago

Violence? Why pray tell? Don't fight the cops or prison industry de-fund their ass. Kill their gravy-train, and make them humble, then they'll FEEL your pain.

Today the COPS don't feel your pain, cuz your little people.

Just like 'blade runner', if your NOT COP, your little people. Your shit your nothing. Time to end this BULLSHIT and put cops and fucking prison guards and the whole fucking police-state (TSA/DHS) in their fucking place.

Funny however this is exactly butt ass opposite to the GOAL of the OWS who wants to SUPER-FUND The COP-SHOP and make more criminals and give OBAMA unlimited power to criminalize civil disobedience.

The alternative to street fighting that was embraced by the 19th century socialist movement, parliamentary contestation, is absolutely useless to us now. But even in the 19th century, when universal suffrage was a new democratic right, its use for revolutionary movements was not to enter into the administration of the capitalist state. Engels wrote that it “provided us with a means, second to none, of getting in touch with the mass of the people where they still stand aloof from us.” The dramatic increases in numbers – German socialists drew 1.5 million votes while it was illegal to even have a party meeting, and nearly 2 million votes after that – could compensate for the new military disadvantages. Street fighting, Engels argued, could play a role in the future if “undertaken with greater forces,” which could drop “passive barricade tactics” in favor of “open attack.”

A century later, insurrectionary anarchists and reformists like MoveOn vie for hegemony over the movement, each advancing street-fighting and voting not as tactics, but as the ultimate goals. And we have to be clear that it is an alliance between social democrats and ultra-leftists that has driven this movement, in spite of their public scorn for each other.

Their alliance, however, has opened a space for revolutionary responses to the crisis. These responses won’t be summed up in spectacular clash. They’ll be a process that will be with us through the ebbs and flows, beyond every defeat and within every victory.

The movement is currently in a lull. Everyone looks forward to spring, but there is no need to cling to escalation in period of quiet. No need, because it is precisely the time to expand, to engage in the less dramatic work of growing and incorporating the diffuse energies of the working class.

Reformists urge coalition building, as though the union bureaucracies could somehow lead a radical movement. While some purists refuse coalitions, the revolutionary response is infiltration and invasion. When we approach the unions we don’t seek their guidance; we seek to introduce class antagonism into those institutions, to construct a broad class power, menacing and inescapable for the bosses just as it is irresistible to workers who spend each day on the defensive.

Fences were torn down twice yesterday. The first time, a panicked and impotent attempt to convert a thwarted plan into a confrontation. The second time, as a tactical maneuver which played a precise and necessary role in evading the enemy. The determination and resourcefulness which enables such an escape could play a role in the army that not only defends the working class from capitalist brutality, but also defeats capitalist power. And at every action we are reminded that our historical task is to build the mass organization capable of drafting its strategy and guiding it to victory.
