OWS needs to stop the demonstrations, clean up the parks /campgrounds, pack up their belongings, and walk away peacefully.
edit: I believe this will send a world wide message of peace.
Unlike you, with your salary pension and job not all of us are that lucky. We need to clean up the parks and campgrounds, that much is true. And we need to walk peacefully. But we need to stay. We need to keep occupying, and people need to join us, as much as they can. The long real term goal is restoring public space and public discourse, which can ultimately only happen by getting people out and meeting each other and realizing their strength and commonality of interests. There's no hope for a working democratic society without that, and no defeat with it.
I realize this is asking OWS to make a huge sacrifice [ doing the right thing usually is ]. The question is.. can OWS do the right thing ..lead by example.
Yes, it might be a good time for OWS to disband and to work on getting people to vote for reform candidates of their choice.
