I just read a Wikipedia article & learned that Ray Kelly is considering a run on the republican ticket for mayor. If OWS cannot stop this in its birthplace, NYC, then what can it really hope to accomplish? If the rest of the country sees that the people of NYC chose Kelly, notwithstanding all the police abuses, then what kind of message will this send?
i wouldnt mind running as a write-in for mayor of nyc to get bloomy's goat.... a vote for me would be a pie in the face of the police state
I'm being serious, supporting a real (viable) candidate. Bloomy cannot run again, it's over for him next year, so we'll have new problems if we choose not to treat these problems seriously.
