One of the greatest lies perpetrated by the 1% is that we live in a capitalist society. That is false, we live under a mercantile system where these corporations control most of the economy, i.e. being too big to fail or how four corporations control 80% of the meatpacking industry, where powerful corporations and banks control the government which must then protect and pander to them, i.e. bailouts, subsidies, and unfair tax cuts, where imperialism is the norm, i.e. invading countries and influencing foreign governments to allow big businesses to take their natural resources and disregard environmental standards and health hazards, and to put the high cost of all of these on the backs of the 99%, i.e. cuts to education, social security, and increased taxes. Mercantilism is what is causing this staggering income inequality but capitalism is what can save us. If we end the influence of corporate money in our politics, foster REAL competition, and regulate the banks, capitalism will return us to prosperity, economic growth, lower income inequality, a higher standard of living, and a healthy environment. So let's reform our political economic system and bring capitalism back to America!

Zeitgeist is a movement with an unobtainable goal. A resource based economy has a lot of advantages, but loss of incentives leads to famine and poor technological developement. It's just not possible.
