In support of Occupying Wall Street, we are planning to gather in Texas. We hope to work with you to form gatherings in Austin, Houston and Dallas. If you would like to be part of this historic movement in the Lone Star State, please visit: http://occupytexas.blogspot.com/

I'm in on this. Houston local and native.
I feel we should focus ourselves on supporting #OccupyAustinTx
The change we're trying to make should be centered where it can do the most good, which would be our state capitol.
Also, Austin has a healthy youth culture which would also provide support.
If you want to meet up in Houston, I can fill you in on what we talked about, and what we're planning on doing. Austin will probably be our centralized location, but obviously DFW and Houston are important too. PM me to exchange info.
Agreed 100%. Personally, I feel every state outside of NY should focus on gathering in the Capitols. That makes the most sense, because not every state has a Wall Street/financial district. We plan on focusing in Austin, but if people are unable to join we encourage them to do something in their city. Apparently there is an OccupyTexas facebook, we didn't create the page but we did create http://occupytexas.blogspot.com/
We hope to team up with everyone who supports this movement. I hope the site can serve as a Texas news hub. Would you like to contribute to the site? Among the small group of people I got together with today (please see links below), I volunteered to build the blog site. I could use some help with obtaining content :)
