Forum Post: On Wisconsin! Walker Headed For Big Win!

The union recall temper tantrum has almost run its course. Petulant union members were outraged that anyone would dare challenge their control of their employer and government in Wisconsin. It's fun to elect your own boss and very upsetting when it finally doesn't happen.

With one union stooge sidelined already in the Democrat primary of all places, the remaining leftist is getting ready to go up in smoke next week. The union warning to any other politician that dares challenge their control is turning out to embolden them instead. Thanks for that, other states like Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and California need reform too.

Watch Wisconsin working families take back their government which for too long merely served its employees and not everyone.

Watch Wisconsin reject a future as Greece.

On Wisconsin!

You ought to get a lot of grief for this one:-)

The voters of Wisconsin will decide who wins, which is the way it's supposed to work. Frankly, I don't care if Walker wins or loses. The people of Wisconsin should choose their own future.

is there a going to be a general strike on June 5 Tuesday ?

[-] -2 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

If you're talking government workers, how long do you think it would take before anyone notices? LOL. But if they do, hopefully Walker would do exactly like Reagan did with the air traffic controllers. Bring it on! It would just accelerate the reforms.

Strike away. People are becoming deaf to constant threats of strikes. You've spent us into poverty with your grand schemes. Now you suddenly don't like that the spigot is running dry? Did you think anything else would happen?

Nothing is free, nor should it be.

Everything you want, put together, IS breaking the economy.

Don't believe me, open your eyes.

Greece is coming regardless of what happens in Wisc

[-] -1 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

Maybe for places like Illinois that are so far gone with entrenched union corruption, but Wisconsin still has a chance. It's not to late for them and a Walker win confirms that there's still hope.

[-] 0 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

No it doesnt. It just shows how an entire nation can get caught up in legislation that is petty compared to the structural problems at the federal level that make it impossible for a state to do what it deems right, regardless if its l vs r.

The feds are going to suck the whole thing under with their greed, corruptoin and warmongering.

Why not ask this question another way.

50% of the people pay no Federal Income Tax. Why do the people that pay nothing have any say in how the tax money is spent?

We have a graduated tax rate why not a graduated ballot box? Everybody gets one vote, and then you get one more for every $1000 that you pay in taxes?

It's easy to demand more government when it's someone else picking up the tab. It's a pretty simple concept and these boards are full of wailing and whining for more more more. Why? Because someone else can be made to pay for it. It's hard to view each other as stakeholders when the stake of so many is just a stake in someone else's pocket.

Mr. Reality our government is not a restaurant. There is no "TAB".

The middle class is disappearing and many are becoming the new poor. Many of them pay more taxes then Mitt Romney does.

Which reality time are you in?

No "tab"?

Where do you think all this money is coming from?

Its a house of cards, and its going to come down. And history is going to look at this time as exteremely ignorant of reality.

[-] 1 points by Puzzlin (2898) 11 years ago

The comparison of our government to a restaurant, and who picks up the "TAB" is a horrible analogy period.

[-] 1 points by hchc (3297) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

It is. When you dont pay the tab at a restuarant, you are the only one who really gets screwed.

When governments dont pay their tabs, their rich asses are fine, while we all get screwed.

[-] -1 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

No, many of them don't. What an idiotic thing to write.

There is no "tab"? Spoken as a non-taxpayer.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

an oil company ?

[-] 1 points by Puzzlin (2898) 11 years ago

LMFAO

We'll let the oil companies pick up the "TAB" since they don't seem to have one.

[-] -1 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

and so many are born with their pockets already full....

[-] 3 points by Puzzlin (2898) 11 years ago

Absolutely true factsffun. Another fun fact here, those born with that silver spoon in their mouth also tend to keep it. I think the reality time guy doesn't understand how that works. He seems to believe they always work their way up from the bottom. They call that stereotyping which conservatives love to do when they have no facts to share.

He has no facts to back up his claims. And frankly, he is also confused which is a reason why it's even hard to get what he means in his posts. But it does seem that he favors and cares for the rich and likely believes the poor deserve to be poor.

Maybe he should help them learn to fish!

Factsrfun is a paid Democratic Party operative. He posts these falsely altruistic one-liners to boost his groupthink point count and build cred with the shit-for-brains crowd.

[-] -1 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

Some are, but most with full pockets earn it themselves. I know that doesn't fit the hoped for liberal narrative, but that's how it is.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 11 years ago

who do they earn that money from the People?

[-] -2 points by factsrfun (8310) from Phoenix, AZ 11 years ago

here's a link if you run into this lie again

http://www.nytimes.com/pages/national/class/

[-] -3 points by RealityTime (-224) 11 years ago

Yes, I know there's always a rationalization to justify the taking.

Of course, they earned it from other people. But see, then it belongs to the person that earned it just as the stuff or services you BOUGHT then belong to you. The car I sell you doesn't still belong to me because I sold it to you. It belongs to you because I sold it to you. Really, is this stuff hard?

What is Reality?

You know? Is it yours?

Which orbit are you in?
