Anyone else here ever read "American Dynasty" by Kevin Phillips?

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

It is a little dynasty, is it not?

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Ya know that was Joe Kennedy's idea. Well it's not like it was a copyrighted intellectual property or anything.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Agreed.

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Frightening to think of another Bush in office someday.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Well, there has been a few articles on Jeb Bush as a late entry. That should scare the crap out of everyone.

[-] 0 points by Reneye (118) 12 years ago

Yes, including this;

Looks like Jeb Bush is getting into the "for profit disaster response business"

The Bush family is sick. These guys don't get into anything unless there is a boat load of money to be made with very little room for risk. So, what do these guys know that we don't?

Lets see.... Food distribution,Water distribution,Temporary housing..... Starting to sound like Halliburton to me. Just change the Bush and leave out Cheney.....Or...is this a marriage made in heaven. Wouldn't the sicko Nazi bushes be in the perfect position now to deliver people to Cheney's fema camps?

Just sayin'....this development should raise lots of questions....

Interesting too, that his new company is named 'Rhodes', as in "Rhodes Scholars". The Globalist rats are all connected.

[-] 0 points by Reneye (118) 12 years ago

Unbelievable ! Sickos I tell ya', sickos.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

This must be what happens when they figure out that global warming exists.

[-] 1 points by MattLHolck (16833) from San Diego, CA 12 years ago

they know

they don't care

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

and now they want to profit.

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

The greedy corrupt have always positioned themselves to cash in on disaster and or war. Somehow they were a little slow on the application after Katrina and now during melt-down.

Well some what slow - they did manage to flush a lot of working class people out onto the street needing relief that has not come yet. But at the same time they made a tidy bundle off of creating the disaster to begin with.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Yeah, but this is pretty sick.

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

OH. . . they can work with a lot of genius when there is money to be made profiteering to sing about to their grand kids. They are not what is known as classically stupid. No there is a real intelligence and uncaring hunger at work. Some of the best minds that money can buy work on this stuff full time.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I agree.

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

So sad. when there is all kinds of money to be made doing good things and distributing the proceeds fairly. There is no need for disaster or war to make ( Good ) money, and there is no need to exclude the workers in the process to a good life.

[+] -7 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Would make sense though - the candidates they have now are about as popular as a migraine.

They could try to launch him as related to previous experience and say something like:

We had two and were still here - shall we try three? ( the republican late entering alternative to Obama. Come on America Jump on Board ).

This message was paid for by...........

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I don't think that Jeb is going to gain any popularity. I think it would be smarter for him not to run. I don't think there is enough distance time wise from his brother for him to really gain any traction.

I really think that we are watching the Republican party implode. They have to go back and rebuild. There is just no way around it. I would think that the smarter thing to do is not to run him this election while they focus on getting it together. OTOH, throw spaghetti at the wall and see if it sticks. Well, we know who would pay for it.......lol.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

GF- I imagine I'm paranoid.
But if our dear friend willard does not get it together, we may get a brokered convention.
With the majority of Rs pissed at their choices, they may find jeb or chris and come out in droves as the party finds its savior.
heaven help us!

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Do you think that he is going to be overcome his brother's policies or his father's agenda? Will they scrutinize his policies in Florida? We are looking at war and the RR stated that they felt betrayed by his brother.

[-] 1 points by bensdad (8977) 12 years ago

Unfortunately - I think the lemmings will not think - they will believe

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Hahaha - spaghetti - Doh!

Sorry think I was channeling Chris Christie for a second.

It is long past time for the public to stop paying for this. That is why I am not unhappy to see the republican party going down in flames.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I agree. :D

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

[-] -2 points by SmeggitySpooge (78) 12 years ago

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

[+] -7 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

laughing - it's funny how some things are just . . . right.

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

It has to be the name and personality combination.

Every time I think to myself this is the worst incarnation yet, he comes up with another one that is 20 times worse.

Well you know it does take practice. BwahaHAha....... no one could be that bad straight out of the gate.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

Yep!!

[+] -6 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Have you seen the Blue Theater troll post? It is funny lame.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 12 years ago

I don't think so. Where is he at?

[-] -1 points by SmeggitySpooge (78) 12 years ago

Bush would have signed NDAA 2012 and with the same empty signing statement.

Ibid for drones, killing countless in the middle east, locking down the net, and tried slipping a budget past everyone that attempted to nationalize the US's economy.... where he stood to gain much.

I know all this escapes you faithful supporters of the DNC who still are mesmerized into believing party affiliation means a damned thing.

[-] 0 points by JuanFenito (847) 12 years ago

Don't you hate on Democrats! They mean well, but the GOP always gets their way even when the dems have a super majority in both houses and the white house! If I can't count on Democrats to be on my side, that means there is no one in the world who cares about me at all! I'm downvoting your post because I don't have a rational counter argument!

[-] 0 points by SmeggitySpooge (78) 12 years ago

Easy now, Pedro, you just read me hating on Bush.

[-] 1 points by jplarocket (1) 12 years ago

fuck. that. I rest my case.

The Bush family: Ultimate Insiders.

After the seizures in late 1942 of five U.S. enterprises he managed on behalf of Nazi industrialist Fritz Thyssen, Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush, failed to divest himself of more than a dozen "enemy national" relationships that continued until as late as 1951, newly-discovered U.S. government documents reveal.

Furthermore, the records show that Bush and his colleagues routinely attempted to conceal their activities from government investigators.

Bush's partners in the secret web of Thyssen-controlled ventures included former New York Governor W. Averell Harriman and his younger brother, E. Roland Harriman. Their quarter-century of Nazi financial transactions, from 1924-1951, were conducted by the New York private banking firm, Brown Brothers Harriman.

The White House did not return phone calls seeking comment.

Although the additional seizures under the Trading with the Enemy Act did not take place until after the war, documents from The National Archives and Library of Congress confirm that Bush and his partners continued their Nazi dealings unabated. These activities included a financial relationship with the German city of Hanover and several industrial concerns. They went undetected by investigators until after World War Two.

At the same time Bush and the Harrimans were profiting from their Nazi partnerships, W. Averell Harriman was serving as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's personal emissary to the United Kingdom during the toughest years of the war. On October 28, 1942, the same day two key Bush-Harriman-run businesses were being seized by the U.S. government, Harriman was meeting in London with South African Field Marshall Smuts to discuss the war effort.

As this article is dated 2003, why is this resurfacing here in 2012?

[-] 1 points by PublicCurrency (1387) 12 years ago

Many are completely unaware of this history as it was not reported in the main stream propaganda machine. This history is extremely relevant today!

Brown Brothers Harriman is the oldest bank in the U.S. and Prescott Bush was a partner. Interesting that both Bush's brought us a "bankster bailout."

Here's one you may like PublicCurrency.

More and more is coming out about this now. Its a pretty comprehensive site.

You are on so much crack. What do you get out of typing this nonsense?

[-] 1 points by SmeggitySpooge (78) 12 years ago

I only smoke 14 crack today. That's not very much, feces brains.

I'm glad Obama has carried on executing on the same agenda as Bush, shouldn't everyone be?

You don't think the Bush's little brown baby looks like Obama?

[-] 2 points by therising (6643) 12 years ago

Please put away your laptop now and do something productive with your life.

[-] 1 points by SmeggitySpooge (78) 12 years ago

Believe me, I am.

However, this certainly appears to be a blatant case of "take my advice, I'm not using it".

How cute, what a granddaddy.
