Occupy Wall Street's Official List of Demands -- Proposal

  • proposal is below. Please comment and lets get this going and give the Government something to go on... let's make a real CHANGE!!!

...................FIGHT CORPORATE GREED:

Job Exportation (including companies migrated)

  • Companies that export jobs will be charged an additional 12% on received goods. (moved factories)
  • Apply service migration penalties of 12% on gross profits. (ie, Tech/Phone support)

Illegal Workers

  • All companies found hiring illegal workers are fined $500 per head and penalty taxation of 12% on gross profits.

Migrant Workers

  • Private sector: Increase income tax to individual by 10% and hiring companies pay 15% of individuals income in addition.
  • Government: NO LONGER - Government is not allowed to hire Non-US born workers for any US base projects. This is allowing for Consultation for over seas ventures and language translations only. All "work" for the government will be completed by US nationals - No outsourcing to Indians.

Importation

  • Increase importation tax by 12%. {{ : Producing in America works. Lets get working again! }}

The FED (Federal Reserve)

  • It is the most powerful corporation in the country no more! {{ : fyi... the FED is actually a company, NOT a government organization}}

...................FIGHT DOMESTIC GREED:

Welfare

  • Recipients will be subject to random drug and alcohol screenings. No longer will we pay for non-essentials.
  • Overpopulation/Consumption/Abuse - family benefits will be limited to a single set of 2 children -- excluding injury (should a large family find themselves in misfortune but have 2+ children accommodations will be met but at reduction for 4 years.) -- excluding incidents of multiple births on first set (should a family have one child then twins or more, this is acceptable as it was out of recipients control, vise-versa). {{ : If you are on welfare and keep having kids, why should we pay for them? }}

Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security For Elderly

  • They've paid their dues. Full coverage. {{ : Additionally, having gram-gram take care of someone's kids will free up the parents to work.}}

...................FIGHTING POLITICAL GREED:

Politicians

  • Every cent for campaign must be held accountable
  • Receiving "donations" of any kind from special interests is NO LONGER acceptable.
  • Advertisement for electoral campaigning is no longer legal by politicians or supporters. {{ : Goal is to take money out of the equation, allowing for the right person with no "rich" background to contend.}}

Term limits for congress.

why not just make politicians sign a contract to do what they say and jail them for fraud when they don't. The only way to have people with no greed would be to breed some new species or something....

Hey, The UNIONS have given MILLIONS to President Obama. We are the middle class.

If no one was donating any money and politics were equal across the board, they could have contributed those MILLIONS to a better cause.

Possibility invested it back into the system and used the proceeds toward retirement or creating a better work environment (assuming it is a workers UNION, [which is also its true purpose]).

Sounds good. However the poor are NOT the target of #ows. Hence the name OccupyWallstreet.

Poor or rich it doesn't matter. I believe our purpose is to fight greed in all its forms; corporate, domestic, and political. The poor are NO BETTER than the rich, we are all equal - that is the real message of OWS. This started because there was inequality and this draft focuses on all problems, rich or poor.

I like these but I think we can go much bigger.

I suggest putting these as close as you can to how you would like to hear these as laws or amendments to the constitution.

Final touches always have to be done by lawyers to close the loopholes.
