Forum Post: Occupy shirts, Occupy posters, Occupy merchandise

Posted 12 years ago on Dec. 10, 2011, 5:54 p.m. EST by occupymovementprotest (0)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Www.occupymovementprotest.com features Occupy shirts, Occupy posters, and other Occupy merchandise as well. New items coming shortly

Sure people would like to know how much gets donated so... 20% min goes to the Occupy Movement. We dont just donate cash we get deeply invovled by donating hats, gloves and other needed materials. Actually we plan on going out and giving out food to protesters as well. Also, offer wholesale for resellers

And for all those trolls or all who are against the movement.. why would you be against a movement that is trying to give your kids a better future and possibly help you out.

You need to really think about redesigning those shirts. Keep them simple..

SPAM

If you want to donate to OWS, you don't need to buy some crappy T-shirt to do so.

a quote from a NYCGA members site

"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

here, let me share the link with you, notice the LLC up top of the page

his proof of membership.

you need to chill out little homie.

I'm a member, too, and I'm not selling shit "on behalf" of OWS. Of course you'd defend the practice, it's what you are trying to do with your website.

[-] 1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 12 years ago

instead of fighting the tide, why don't you start an independent project and network with everyone else that is doing it. come up with your own model and lead by example. if it works, you can show others how to do the same. this is one of the many things we can do in this movement. you need to start discerning between what we are fighting from those fighting it. as it is now, it looks like you are fighting everyone. people like you and infinityCircle are why i remain just a 99er and neutral to OWS. because of infinity, i completely disavow Global and left my post as an IWG mod. you don't have to like me, but you need to think about who you are fighting, us or them.

The "voice of reason" from a spammer and troll?

Pardon me, I just fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard ...

[-] 1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 12 years ago

ok, but while you are laughing, think about how your energy could be better spent empowering the movement. simply calling everyone a troll and showing up at the GA is fine and well, but you could be doing more.

[-] 1 points by nucleus (3291) 12 years ago

a) The poster here is potentially a spammer and I have called them out as such.

b) You are a TROLL and you repeatedly SPAM this forum with links to your website to increase your site's search ranking. You've been doing it for months and you are widely recognized for it.

Part of "empowering the movement" on this forum means pointing out those who are abusing it for their own benefit.

[-] 1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 12 years ago

part of being divisive is discrediting and creating confusion. it is my right to point out a fraud who seeks to diminish the numbers of support, such as yourself. of course i am working for my benefit. each protester and supporter is working for their benefit. i will not apologize for it nor should i.

[-] 1 points by nucleus (3291) 12 years ago

It is one thing to work for your own benefit, it is another thing entirely to make your own benefit on the work of others.

And in terms of being divisive, maybe you should consider the large negative reaction your repeated spamming has had here. I've actually enjoyed and occasionally even voted up some comments of yours that were not spamming your website.

[-] 1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 12 years ago

you have already been corrected by two of our writers and another supporter that does not write for us. i'm not playing your game. get a grip and move on. your hounding and stalking are by definition trolling. you're a fraud, or maybe you just have a need for attention. either way you're a waste of oxygen.

[-] 1 points by richardkentgates (3269) 12 years ago

and this guy, and Halls LLC. just because it's not your thing doesn't mean you have the right to tear everyone else down. you aren't in charge, you are representative of you alone. the longer OWS and the 99% movement go on, the more of us you will find. we are the 99% so calling it a co-opt is absurd. you need to grow up.

Oh, I see. my opinion does not count? Sieg Heil!

Hmmmm....don't know if this could be classified so. Afterall, if people are wearing occupy merc, their effectively walking advertisements. And the more education, and information dissemination we can bring the better. If this guy was selling 'occupy tooth brushes', or some other random rubbish product, I would understand the 'spam'....however I would argue that it is more than that. And, should they be profiting off the sales....why not? They need to eat too. Afterall, if business all over the world started supporting occupy....just imagine...

This is our effort. To support the actual people standing up, and making a profit is not our ultimate goal, though it would be nice, keeping people warm and moral high is our goal.

And also to add in we fully support the movement 100%
