Lobbying should be criminalized and abolished. People need to think for themselves for once.

Lobbying is a large part of the problem with the current system.

I thought the second one should have been done a few time for repetition. Repetition is key.

These are good initiatives. Althogh the method could be far improved. You just don't know how confusing it sounds to hear two times the same words both from someone who has the speech and other protesters.

I like to hear coherent uninterrupted speaches and you just don't know how illogical it gets by making other protests repeat 3 words like if they are praying Holy Father???!!!

Occupy would be well better if people would take up roles. Not everyone needs to speack...

The people's mic has a reason for it, in VERY large groups or when someone who cant speak up is speaking. I hated it, because I have no problem speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear me.

But yes, the repeating aspect of things was extremely annoying in circumstances. That being said, nothing is perfect, so I guess just try to go with the flow.

Exactly you're getting the point :)

I'm not just saying because this is annoying, I'm saying because this reflects on the image of ows. If actually this all-time repetition method goes off, things will become not just a bit, but dramatically more coherent.

As for the flow, the mic check and other slogans sure fit. But repetition, like acohool (lol) needs moderation ;)

Nice talking to you.

Just to clear up, I was speaking of doing the action more than just once. Do it once, and they can sweat it out and its done. Do it multiple times a week and you start to really push the conversation.

There was a ban on using megaphones.

Hence the people's mic. It did get old very quickly.

re-education department. thought police, clearing out the cities? targeted assassinations? Are these the roles you have in mind?

Take up roles means not everyone repeating "sheep-alike" the words one protester is saying. Because that IS what actually makes it confusing.

You say 3 words, and protesters need to say 3 words. Example:

"The US Government" .... and all others "The Us Government". -"has not stopped".

  • (all others) "has not stopped" -"with the support",
  • (all others) "with the support"
  • "of corporate entreprises",
  • (all others) "of corporate entreprises"
  • to exploit and opress (all others) to exploit and opress
  • the people of the world
  • (all others) the people of the world

For me this is like sheep saying meeee-meeee. This is not about civic participation, this is just church praying for lord's sake!

On the countrary, I think it is far more appealing this way:

  • One of the protesters with the word: The US Government has not stopped, with the support of corporate entreprises, to exploit and opress the people of the world.

Audience reacts applauding, booing or whatever. Then the one speacking continues and or someone else takes word from audience.

Now If you think making speach roles organized is dictature and "re-educative" I don't buy that. If you can have one dictature by just allowing one to speack, by allowing all to speack you go no different. People need to speack in organized way otherwise IT'S A MESS!
