Awesome photos! Thank you so much. China is one of the oldest continuous civilizations in human history with a strong tradition of rebellion and protest. Good for them. And, we here in America should think twice when reveling in our hubris about how "free" we are. We can barely stand on a sidewalk with a sign these days.

Looks to me like a population that has no fear of their police and government. Not like the USA.

People were saying to pass by policemen "do not working to hard" with smile at every intersection. The policemen were telling people "keep up a good work" with smile. The policemen were joining the game without lossing their job.

Man! These people really know how to protest! Looks like it worked too. Sounds like no pipeline is going in. At least for now.

This is one of the three major win this year. The first one is in Wukan, Guangdong. The second one was in Shenfan, Sichuan. There will be more coming.
