NEWTON -- Come Saturday morning, protesters will Occupy Newton.
Area groups have organized a rally, to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday on the Newton Green, that will mirror the high-profile Occupy Wall Street demonstrations.
The event, which is being promoted as a show of solidarity with protesters around the country, was conceived by local members of the American Dream Movement in partnership with the Northwest New Jersey Progressive Alliance, Northwest New Jersey MoveOn Council, New Jersey Peace Action and New Jersey State Industrial Union Council
The people who live in it have heard of it.
You're going to hold a protest in a town that no one's ever heard of?
Why not? It may put the town on the map.
