As the NDAA sits within the hands of Obama, time is running out.

The president has until December 26th to VETO the bill, or it will become law. If no action is taken, the bill will become law. The odds are not within our favor, nor that of the congress who rapidly voted in favor of the bill.

This bill will compromise any human rights and civilian liberties that were highly valued during the establishment of this country's roots.

This bill will allow for martial law to be implemented as the result of any disaster, natural or man-made. This legislation nearly insures that such law will be inevitable.

We need to ask ourselves what will happen once such an event occurs. How do you survive martial law? How do the people secure liberties and freedoms after such a change of power? How will the president treat you?

But the most important question of all is HOW DO WE PREVENT IT?

There is not much time to act. Collaboration is essential.

Please take a moment to write to the president:

Your feedback is essential. Please feel free to reply to this post with suggestions that we may all take. WE NEED TO ACT IN CONCERT.

Twitter, email, Facebook, sign petitions, make calls, Youtube. I am not going to set foot in a FEMA Camp, come hell or high water.

Here is an article to help better illustrate my concerns:

At this point you can't prevent it, you have to hope it's challenged as unconstitutional and a case gets to the Supreme Court. The other option is to publish a list of those that voted for this law and vote them out of office.
