Occupy Los Angeles has chosen to honor Chris Dorner in the wake of his death, despite the body count he apparently amassed.

Dorner, who had been on the run as a suspect in a recent killing spree, was reportedly killed Tuesday during a shootout that left one law enforcement officer dead and another wounded. Dorner’s body was apparently burned in a fire that swept through a cabin he had held up in for the gunfight.

The statement of support and solidarity was posted on the Occupy Los Angeles’ official Facebook page Wednesday. The statement came in the form of a posted picture captioned with the phrases “Rest In Power Chris Dorner” and “Assassinated By The Police for Trying To Expose LAPD Corruption.”

The Occupy Los Angeles page has nearly 56,000 likes and supporters. At the time of this article’s posting, nearly 900 Occupy Supporters “Liked” the expression of support for the cop-killer, and nearly 400 users reposted the image to their own Facebook accounts.

Many of the nearly 400 comments left by Occupy Los Angeles followers expressed support, with some going as far as saying “Kill Kill Kill the White man,” and “LAPD got their Karma.”

Exactly. I was going to point that out last night. I guess I should've.

Don't get me wrong - Dorner is no hero and we shouldn't hold him up as if he were, that's not only bad PR its bad Karma. But I can identify with the kind of rage - or is it hate - that it takes to kill the children of those you deem as guilty . . . .

Atrocity begets atrocity, as they say . . .

I still wanna know -

I question the legitimacy of any story told by breitbart.com, but considering the long and sordid history of the LAPD, I wouldn't doubt it's real.

I also get the impression that, at times, you've had to make the difficult decision as to which wolf you chose to feed.

generally that isn't much of an issue - what is interesting is that as we go through life it can become quite apparent that for any of us and our . . . twins . . . we may not be the only ones feeding them.

You have two mutts inside you, I am sure - I, for example, could feed either, right now . . .

wasn't he a sniper in the armed forces?

I bet he's killed before

So far what I've seen is that he was Navy, and although deployed overseas it doesn't look like he saw combat.

I haven't read the whole thing, but this is his uncensored manifesto and he might go into some detail re his service. Mostly what I saw pertained to his firing from LAPD.

so he denied doing the murders , the police claimed without trial
