The biggest threat to the 99% is the ability of the 1% to bend the political system to serving it's own goals. The way it does this is by financing elections and lobbying elected officials. The way to eliminate this is by financing elections/candidates through the public purse (i.e., using tax payer money) and by strictly regulating lobbyists.
This should be the first objective for the this movement - all other objectives flow from this one.
