If Assad uses chemical weapons "there will be consequences". What do you think that means?
I think it means that Obama, and the financial oligarchy that he represents, want to take over the world, and will offer any justification to do so.
Even to the point, perhaps, of NATO carrying out a chemical attack itself and then turning around and blaming Assad. This could be a prep for just such a scenario, or perhaps it's just more anti Assad propaganda.

Why not, NATO spec ops forces fired over the head of Syrian demonstrations, inviting lethal fire back on the demonstrators (an old trick)? How would this be so different?

Are you suggesting that the Russian supplied govt tanks, bombs, helicopter, & jets have killed no Syrians? Or a different number?

Let's see. If Obama said that then it could mean many things like maybe he'll send them a warning in a White House Christmas card or maybe he'll spray their date trees with blaze-orange paint ( dioxin/Monsanto) or maybe he'll be divinely inspired by the almighty banks to go to war in order to improve the economy. After all, the government subcontractors provide a lot of jobs for a lot of folks. In all seriousness, whether Obama wanted to go to war nor not is really a mute point since he seems to make decisions that favor profits, not the preservation of human life and liberty.
Do you mean threatening Assad? I think it means Pres Obama will send a drone up Assads ass if he uses Chem weapons against his own people.
