This would be the proper response to the disturbances in the Islamic world over the recent film. The film was a trigger not a cause.
Obama should now reassert civilian control over the military and purge the woman and babykillers. A drone campaign is a terror campaign. Great evil is being done in our name.

The proper response is an onslaught from free press all over the world with cartoons and and accompanying articles derisive of The Prophet. The USA had a faster response to no embassies getting attacked in Libya in 2011 than they're having now when embassies got attacked in Libya.
I'm not certain you understand, the present circumstances were wholly predictable - this was the expected outcome that Obama supported then and continues to support now. Now that the force of opposition is burning American flags, killing American people, we can once again say - their right to so express is protected free speech. And that's exactly what Obama will say.

U got it bakwards, pod person. Drone terror campaigns (and other crimes against Islamic countries) came first, fury came next, the purposely provocative film next, the triggered response next.
It's not about placating, it's about justice and ceasing evil (this might be above pod people reasoning capability).
