Gaddafi threatens to destroy a city of "rebels."
In order to prevent this from happening, Obama and NATO then destroy the city of Sirte.
The assault on Sirte, a city of 100,000 people, left virtually every building smashed, with untold numbers of civilians dead, wounded and stricken by disease, as they were deprived of food, water, medical care and other basic necessities.
Hypocrisy anyone? Here's some photos of the destroyed city where civilians lived.

What was done in Libya was not a solution. Why would NATO and Obama resort to destroying a city and putting a country in turmoil over threats, if diplomacy once before got Gaddafi to turn down the idea of having nuclear weapons?

How is all of this an answer to the problem?
If this happened under Bush... maybe the democrats would speak out against this like they did during Iraq.

yes BOTH parties are tied to the warmongering class, the 1%.
the 1% that profit from every bullet and every bomb dropped or missile launched from a robot-drone aircraft. the ones that got all the corporate contracts in Iraq,. and all the 'war-zones',. . the two-party 'representational' system is busted,. it does not work and can not be made to work. participatory consensus democracy, it is not just a concept,. it is the solution.
