This content is user submitted and not an official statement

The community is interested in having true stories of people who have died as a result of ObamaCare. We are interested in hearing the detailed, true stories of people who have no insurance because of the Web Site healthcare.gov and who have passed as a result. But we also want to hear the true stories of people who HAD insurance, lost it, and died as a result of trying to save money by not getting care or while awaiting assignment to a new program through healthcare.gov. Or, of those Americans who lost their doctor and who died as a result of poor communication or poor care with their new physician or while waiting to get a new doctor. With so many millions of people affected, we want to know the true stories of those dying on the front lines and trenches as a result of incoming taken from ObamaCare.

Geeze. It's just like I've been saying.

ALEC, destroying Democracy, one State at a time.

The ad comes days after the billionaire brothers announced their $4 million anti-Obamacare advertising campaign, sponsored by the Americans for Prosperity, which plans to target six congressional democrats who supported the Affordable Care Act. Begich is just the first.

Makes one wonder - Just What The Fuck Is Their Dog In All Of This? Perhaps they are " Invested " in for profit health?

It doesn't matter to them how they get there, what they have to do , or what they have to lie about, or who among us little people get hurt.

The aim is small government libe(R)topia.

The corp(se)oRATe states of America. That is their goal.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 10 years ago

No.

With CU, they have already attained that.

Now it's onward to full libe(R)topia.

Nicole Hopkins: ObamaCare Forced Mom Into Medicaid

My mother preferred to pay for her care rather than be on the government dole. Now she has no choice.

ObamaCare forced Mom onto Medicaid

By Nicole L. Hopkins

Nov. 20, 2013 7:13 p.m. ET

My mother is not one to seek attention by complaining, so her recent woeful Facebook FB +0.58% post caught my eye: "The poor get poorer." It diverged from the more customary stream of inspirational quotes, recipes and snapshots from her tiny cottage in Pierce County, Wash.

The post continued: "I just received a notice: 'In order to comply with the new healthcare law, your current health plan will be discontinued on December 31, 2013.' Currently my premium is $276 and it is a stretch for me to cover. The new plan . . . are you ready . . . projected new rate $415.20. Now I can't afford health insurance."

The unaffordable ObamaCare-compliant plan that her insurer offered in a Sept. 26 letter is not what makes my mother's story noteworthy. Countless individually insured Americans have received such letters; many are seeing more radical increases in premiums and deductibles.

But most of these people are still being offered the chance to choose what health-care insurance they will receive, or to opt out before they are automatically enrolled in a state program. Not so my mother, Charlene Hopkins, as I soon discovered when I called after seeing her Facebook post.

Since she couldn't afford the new plan offered by her insurer, she told me she was eager to explore her new choices under the Affordable Care Act. Washington Healthplanfinder is one of the better health-exchange sites, and she was actually able to log on. She entered her personal and financial data. With efficiency uncommon to the ObamaCare process, the site quickly presented her with a health-care option.

That is not a typo: There was just one option—at the very affordable monthly rate of zero. The exchange had determined that my mother was not eligible to choose to pay for a plan, and so she was slated immediately for Medicaid. She couldn't believe it was true and held off completing the application.

"How has it come to this?" she asked in one of our several talks over the past few weeks about what was happening. When she was a working mother and I was young, she easily carried health insurance for our whole family. "How have I fallen this far?"

In 2011, she had to give up her real-estate license; as a newer agent, she did not stand to earn enough in the tough market to justify the fees to renew. She has since managed to eke out a living as a substitute para-educator in the Central Kitsap School District. "I'm not on the couch, watching TV," she said. "I'm out trying to find more work every day."

Unable to secure employer-sponsored health care, she had, until this fall, chosen to pay $276 a month for bare-bones catastrophic coverage. "I think that we should be able to take care of ourselves and to earn enough money to pay for basics, and health insurance is one of them," she told me. For two years she had paid out of pocket for that plan, but now she is being told that the plan isn't good enough for her.

The Sept. 26 letter from my mother's insurer promised that the more expensive plan "conforms with the new health care law"—by covering maternity needs, newborn wellness and pediatric dental care. My mother asked: "Do I need maternity care at 52?" In addition to requiring her to pay an extra $1,677 annually, the plan would have increased her deductible by $1,500.

Meet future victim Bill Elliott, 50:

South Carolinan Bill Elliott, 50, and a late-stage lung-cancer survivor, is looking at doing just that. He reports that premiums for his family will jump from $150 to $1,500 a month. His doctor isn’t in the ObamaCare network and neither are his medicines, so he’s thinking about stopping altogether, “pay the $95 or whatever fine and I’m just going to let nature take its course,” because he doesn’t want to burden his family.

It seems like Fox TV and the New York Post can offer lots of stories with absolutely no proof. But, I can't give this any more time, I have to respond to the right wing attacks on JFK that a communist killed him named Lee Harvey Oswald and liberals just use the assassination to attack the right on civil rights blah, blah. What if we called it BushCare? Would that be better? Nobody on the right complained about Bush while he was in office. I tried to get the right to complain about Bush's big medicare push, none would. Not until Obama wanted to mandate the healthcare issue did they claim to be against Bush's medicare push. Why is that ??? Why??? Nah, I can give you nothing here. Sorry.

Actually, this story first appeared in the WSJ and I am sure we will be hearing from more people in the same boat as time goes on...well, you'll hear about it if you delve into news sources right of the radical left,

Nazihunter is a paradox for a leftwinger. Hitler was the epitomy of hardleft fascism/socialism. You hunting them down so you can join?

[-] 3 points by AlternativeEnergy (9) from Lockbourne, OH 10 years ago

fascism is not a left or right ideology, it is an economic model.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 10 years ago

Decidedly right wing.

You can look it up.

[-] 3 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

YEP - Genocidally Insane Conservative = WWII Nazi Germany.

[-] 2 points by nazihunter (215) 10 years ago

u b funny. 'fascism/socialism.' (??) You'd better go to school. No, really. A degree in Stupidity from Fox TV won't help you much.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 10 years ago

Hitler was staunchly right wing.

Unless of course you view the world through Beck colored lenses.

In which case you are very likely......insane.

Get that checked.

Wow! You must have been quite busy if you lobbied every person who leans right to complain about Bush! The way I remember things, you couldn't turn on the network news and hear anything nice about the guy.

I love how the left clings to Bush bashing 5 years into Oblamer's reign. Or just blames everything on racism. You forgot to mention that Oblamer is black!

I lived in Georgia at the time, or as I called it, the South Reich.
