Forum Post: Obama: "Hi friend! I need your money!"

I'm a registered Democrat, so, of course, for the past 8 months I've been getting emails from "Barack Obama", "Michelle Obama", and various other random campaign workers, panhandling for campaign contributions. Apparently Romney is outspending him by a pretty wide margin.

I can't find it in my heart to give my hard-earned money, when I'm not quite sure Barack won't just hand it over to Jamie Dimon. Exaggerated, but serious.

I keep thinking: "If you want my money, that I'm lucky to have at all under your presidency, why don't you fucking do something to earn it?"

But what could he possibly do between now and November that would earn your donation?

Overturn the Citizen's United ruling? Make voting a Constitutional right? Caps on campaign contributions? Close Gitmo? Scrap the NDAA?

I think if he were to enact movetoamend's proposed "28th Amendment", Obama just might get my future kid's college fund.
