Dear religious people freaking out over the contraceptive debate,

By asking the government to change a law due to your religious beliefs you are asking the government to act in complete violation of the 1st amendment.

The 1st amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion.

Not that I really care about this issue... I find it to be a complete waste of time actually. Which brings me to my main point:

Anyone who opposes Obama should stick to real issues. This "war on religion" mumbo jumbo is ignorance at it's best. There's real wars going on right now and real war crimes. This is why I do not understand the majority of people who oppose Obama. You make no sense. You bring up non-issues and wine about your religion when real issues are happening. Like Obama appointing Michael Taylor to the FDA. Michael Taylor is a big wig from Monsanto... Or that Obama supports ACTA. There are so many real issues, yet you republicants fail to mention any of them and clamor on about what you saw on Fox News or wherever else you get your made up "war on religion" information.

It doesn't get too much more liberal than the ACLU, so I will use links from them to back my point. Here's some real issues:

ACLU files law suit against the Obama administration for war crimes... not the first time either.

"I'm not disgusted at President Obama personally. It's President Obama's policies on civil liberties and national security issues I'm disgusted by." - ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero

"The Obama administration’s adoption of the stonewalling tactics and opaque policies of the Bush administration flies in the face of the president’s stated desire to restore the rule of law. ... when these photos do see the light of day, the outrage will focus not only on the commission of torture by the Bush administration but on the Obama administration's complicity in covering them up." - ACLU

Obama also supports ACTA

Vote smart. End the wars. A vote for the republican nominee or a vote for Obama is a vote for more WAR and a vote to support more of the problems we're seeing in our country today. Say no to fascism, say not to the GOP. Vote smart. The lesser of 2 evils will always get you 4 more years of evil.

"Is this the United States congress, or the board of directors meeting for Goldman Sachs?" - Dennis Kucinich

Congress has a lot of power. My suggestion is do not vote for anyone who voted YES on the bailouts, the NDAA, or the Patriot Act. They are all frauds. It's a very simple litmus test on a politician. A vote for anyone who supported these is a vote for people who want more war and do not support the bill of rights.

And to the Obama supporters that will criticize me, try to call me a republican, or try to tell me I'm helping Mitt Romney win: THAT MAKES NO SENSE. Being a liberal does not mean you have to support the Obama administration. I will not support anyone that chooses war over diplomacy, even if they are a democrat.
