The NYPD 1st Precinct Community Council is holding its monthly meeting this Thursday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 pm. Precinct Community Councils meet so residents and civilians can address and discuss community issues with local police officials, and they are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The 1st Precint covers Liberty Park plus all of lower Manhattan, and is the old command of the pepper-spraying Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna!!
We must attend this Community Council meeting and voice our objection to the excessive force and misconduct of Inspector Bologna and other officers during the protests on September 24 and demand a full investigation and Bologna's resignation. Nobody is above the law, otherwise we have no law.
