Forum Post: Number #1 Principal, Hold the Executives Responsible, and Make them Resign in Disgrace

This content is user submitted and not an official statement

The US is Internationally Known now for permitting its Public and Private Executives Do Whaterver they want. IMOH

Who was held Responsible for these Travesties.

1) 2007-2009 US Financial Crisis/Global Crisis which saw AAA Rated Derivaties become worthless and Rocked most global economies. Carte Blanch for US Bank Executives....

2) Iraq War, Invasion, probably $1Trillion dollars directly wasted, another $2 Trillion will be indirectly (Brown University), Million Refugees, Million dead, Disease, Rape & Murder in Refugee camps, Birth defects, Increased Cancer Rates, Destroyed Family Homes and Businesses, and Ruined the Economy, etc. No one in Iraq could ever threated the Continental USA. The entire US Presidential Administration given a pass for all Responsibility....

3) 9-11 Security Failures, The Reigning CIA Chief with full responsibility to Coordinate and Consolidate US Intelligence ...was actually held up as a celebrity and honored for his Expertise and Intelligence....

4) VIetnam War was a Regional Disaster, after 20 years of war with the French, US Strategists falsely started war with Vietnam Communists in the North, ...then we laid land mines in at least 3 countries, Carpet Bombed at Least 2 Countries, Laid out Agent Orange Defoliant poisoning the land and causing disease in at least 2 Countries, Ruined the Economies or Perverted the Economies in 4 Different Countries, hundereds of thousands in these countries killed and families destroyed.... Only US Protests & Activism Stopped the Vietnam War ... In fact the Federal Government stole funds from the Social Security Trust to keep the War Going .... I can't think on a Single American that took Responsiblity for the Travesty & Waste of the War. Vietnam Could never have Attacked or Threatened the Continental US or Even Hawaii. No one held to account in the USA.

Global War on Terror... A Joke. Terrorist don't have Armys, Forts, Ships, Cars, Trucks, Bases, or hubs to attack with your army. You can't declare war on terrorist. You can declare war on a government if they have an army. Terrorism is a Police Action for CIA, FBI, NSA or Federal Police forces.

Number #1 Principal, Hold the Executives Responsible, And Make them Resign in Disgrace. Any Big shot that Creates a new government program has to know ... if all the money is stolen, if the program is Frauduent, if the program fails ... it is not enough to say, "Sorry". The Executive must be disgraced, and he must be investigated, and he must Resign.

Someone should Apologize for Creating the whole agency of HLS ... it was the CIA Director's Job to prevent 9-11 George W. Bush. Enforcement and Program implementation are more important - Creating new Laws and New Agencies. If we had proper Staffing of the SEC & FDIC, with suffient support in the Court Systems & to take Banks to Court ... we might have prevented 2008 Financial Crisis & Global Meltdown.

If it has happened, its because they wanted it to happen.

Yes, it is an old boy network. We don't care what Europe or anyone else says. Our guys are in place and we want to keep them around so that our network is strong. We want favors down the line. We want help with our future programs... He might be a bad guy, but he is our bad guy. It's like the Mafia.

When any admin dons the mantle of world policeman, while being the worst criminals in history, lots of flags should be going up in protest. But they aren't.

The BIG DUMBING DOWN has apparently worked.

Those who know how bad things are now, also realise how easily whistle-blowers are gotten rid of. It's a culture of fear and reprisals, and there's no surer way to undermine the faith of a nation than to hold them in check by fear.

Another Good man. Thanks Builder. Keep building.

We know men are distracted & know the Media Words make us dull and stupid. But there are at least 3 factors keeping us from knowing, feeling, and proesting the truth.

We should be Protesting for the Resignation of so many people. But ... the powers that be figured out after the Vietnam War and ... the passage of OSHA & Worker Rights & Civil Rights ....How to keep people from Protesting

Just like after the Keating 5 were found to be suppressing evidence - Congress Learned never to bring the best campaign supporters up before congress....

Like Duh ....

So bankers are treated like Royalty, complete with Kowtows.

War is intrinsic to our Economy now. Or war is the natural progression to Spending big bucks in the Defense Industry. We have to prove the hardware at some point by going to war... which might be the best reason we went into Panama to get Noriega. After all Noriega was nothing ...certainly not a threat to the USA.

So the system is corrupt and demands Defense spending and ... War to test out the hardware. It pretty much would take an act of God to cut the US Defense Budget...

Noriega was a CIA assett.

When his ego outgrew his usefulness, he was replaced. His former usefulness was the start of the hugely profitable crack cocaine business that has taken so many lives and ruined literally millions of others. This was conjecture, but is now recognised as factual.

Thanks, I heard a bit about Garry Webb and Freeway Ricky Ross. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%22Freeway%22_Rick_Ross https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Webb You might have other pieces of the story. Amandayee had a post about the connection to a bank called BCCI in Europe which I think was shut down.

It's no wonder to me that when thinking people realise the depth of the corruption, they either join in, hunker down, or leave for another country.

Good investigative journalists are so few and far between now, it's only on the internet you'll find them.

[-] 1 points by Middleaged (5140) 11 years ago

Yes, and that was all stuff from the 80s under Reagan. No ones remembers or knows about that stuff now. Any dirt from the 90s or 00s seems to be way under cover. Hey, didn't the US Netorks fire the last Investigative Reporter in like 2008... LOL I know they used retirement as the method ... not really firing.

But think we lost all our reporters. A couple on the New York times maybe.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

It's the same here in Australia, where almost all of our print and tv nooz is owned by mudrock enterprises. And Rupert still thinks prez bush # one and two were good for the US.

[-] 1 points by Middleaged (5140) 11 years ago

Which might be the 3rd Factor in Why the US people are not Protesting and Demanding Reginations of Ececutives ... that the news Media is aligned with US Government ...and probably all Governments. The news is propaganda, but it does't make the news if the owner puts the Kabosh on it.

1) We don't need stories about our military contruction, it is not of consequence.
2) We don't need stories of Chinese Power, Expansion, Ownership of Resources, or Annexation of Resources ... it is just business. 3) The USA as an Empire is not a story. We know the US has bases. The US is at war against Terror. We need something new from Washington ... not news about it's navy, army, or air force.

Sadam Hussien was a US asset and I'm pretty sure we gave him weapons of mass destruction to use on Iran.

Sure, we made buddies all around the world. If you didn't pay ball with us then we took you out. Look at South America. Look at the Monroe Doctrine. Look at Central America. Look at the Banana wars.

Joh Perkins says that the Jackels went in after the IMF failed to win over the Presidents of those countries. We don't care if they are Democratic ... as long as they play ball. But publically we say ...oh you have to be democratic to join with us. Naw, you just have to join the IMF & the WTO (GATT). Eygypt wasn't democratic. Iraq wasn't democratic. Iran was our buddy in 1959.

The international mafiosa.

"America isn't a country, it's a business."

[-] 1 points by Middleaged (5140) 11 years ago

Reminds me of a quote, but can't place it. Now let us list the countries that went afoul of the IMF, WB, and WTO. recent history might be saying it is Libya, and Iraq that wanted to trade oil for gold or their own currency.

Wikipedia has a list of Covert US actions where we didn't like what the Soveriegn countries were doing ... very intersting.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covert_United_States_foreign_regime_change_actions

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroe_Doctrine
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_Wars
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwight_D._Eisenhower#End_of_presidency_1960.E2.80.931961

warned about what he saw as unjustified government spending proposals and continued with a warning that "we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military–industrial complex."

Well that is all I got i guess.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BCCI_Bank (BCCI came under the scrutiny of numerous financial regulators and intelligence agencies in the 1980s due to concerns that it was poorly regulated - OBVIOUSLY ALL BANKERS and many Congressmen knew about BCCI and knew that regulations kept banks and the banking systems in line (so it was Fraud that was behind De-Regulation of US Banks in the 1990s)).

History was full of Corruption and Case Studies about Banks and how the Conflict of Intersts pulled executives toward Corruption. Just search for Accounting Scandals, Control Fraud Scandals, or US Scandals. Fraud and Banking Fraud are not new in 2007. History waits to be discovered by all US Citizens. The laws that prevented fraud up to 1980s/1990s were fully backed by a history of fraud.

The quote is from a new film, America Isn’t a Country; It’s a Business. So Pay Me, Motherfucker: ‘Killing Them Softly,’ Featuring Brad Pitt

I'm thinking that when all the public assetts have been privatised, and the middle class has been destroyed, what else would there be to do for the oligarchs, but to poison the water supply (flouride is too slow) and release the pathogenic viruses that have been developed for warfare.

Game over.

[-] 1 points by Middleaged (5140) 11 years ago

Good Quote. America is a business ...not a country. And everyone wants to get in the act by creating ships as permanent floating countries ... or buying up third world countries. But I guess the rich have to buy experts, education institutions, and a work force to take with them wherever they go ... unless they can refit in port and re-supply wherever they go. Off shore & Virtual banking anyone??

So ...water, food, fuel, funding, currency, ...production could be just housing people on a cruise ship charging rent ... production could also be fees from loans and banking operations on a cruise ship/floating country .... Just wondering if the rich people really need countries and workforces of people ... Plenty of people around to work, low wages right now. Need breadbasket farming and ranching somewhere.

And disarming us makes it all the easier. Oh, we can't win, but we won't go quietly.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

"and the living shall envy the dead" ring any bells for you?

A global pandemic is next on the obfuscation list, and most people will be begging for death.

Something to look forward to, eh? Or, you could prepare to be where you are safe and well, and ready to regroup, but that's just my take on it. Who knows if I'm right or not.

[-] 1 points by justiceforzim (-17) 11 years ago

Not really. but it's dificult to fight the inevitable at my age. I am glad that you have sense enough to prepare. The new world will need new "terrorists" lol.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

I'm an activist. You'll find all the terrorists you need in the whitehouse.

[-] 1 points by justiceforzim (-17) 11 years ago

To be fair, they can be found in most Nato centers of power!

I asume you realize my use of ::"terrorist": was sarcastic, right? I wish you good luck in the coming mess. If only I were 20 again.

[-] 2 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

"If only" is for the dreamers.

I haven't been 20 for 30 years.

The time to make changes and choices is right about now.

Good luck and happy times for the future.

I'm investing in survival equipment, and shopping today for a good water purification pump. Settled on one from Katadyn. Expensive, but extremely efficient and durable. Making my own fuel stove, and just picked out my pack.

I'm off to Tassie in the new year. Need one more bugout spot in a cooler climate.

You are a good man/woman. I really like knowing you are out there. You bring a kind of quiet presence to the table.

[-] 1 points by UFAAisTheWay (11) 11 years ago

I agree, the Executives are usually put out as the fall guys but because they hold the honorable position their respect balances out when all is done. My suggestion is also uproot the men behind the executives that stay associated with the decision makers before and after they are gone. These men are the real controllers.

[-] 1 points by Middleaged (5140) 11 years ago

Perhaps we have to take a good look at the Board Of Directors. The collect good money, get benefits, vote for raises and bonuses for each other ...really trade off giving complex benefits packages to Executives and Each other ...Maybe we can increase transparence, get board of directors abolished, get true independent Auditing Reviews, Get stronger GAAP Rules to keep more on the balance sheet instead of off balance sheet, and get Organizations reviewed by true outside raters who don't collect money from the organization or their sister organzation ... and rate them on high Administrative Costs, High Over head Costs, and expensive reitirement and compensation packages for executives.... etc.
