We will all be f....d by then. OCCUPY DC with millions now. That is not possible with OWS's feeble organization or vision though. We need to build a national council of organizations.

Quite to the contrary. A huge OWS beaurocracy has sprung up in NYC. It is incredibly organized and undemocratic. There are clear leaders -- those who control the donations -- the hundreds of thousands of OWS dollars -- have moved into leadership positions.

And right now it is cold and only going to get colder, but Spring is just a few months away. And it is an election year. So I wouldn't be counting out the movement just yet.

So the 99% are ok with a handful of people that they had no chance to elect running the movement? Occupycenter just argued with me that according to a 'vision statement' OWS is leaderless and non political. And the NYCGA has not endorsed the concept of a National General Assembly with elected delegates because...? This can't be about money because on Wall Street $500,000 is just lunch money. What's going on?

The NGA is the second last thing TPTB want to see. (SIre! the people are revolting! Yes, they certainly are) The NYCGA appears to have every intention of not delivering an NGA. Who exactly are those undemocratic leaders of OWS again?

These are people who infiltrated. Many people were drawn to the movement seeking new leaders. Most are lost without leaders. So these infiltrators took on that role.

try this test on anyone: tell them you heard OWS was going to be making a big announcement tonight. Ask them where they think it will be made. That's right, the same place where they say "we are a leaderless/apolitical movement", the NYCGA. The same people that have not endorsed, and in fact privately removed the working group from the 'official' website, the99% Declaration which gives birth to the NGA. Infiltrated, co-opted, or really stupid? Take your pick, they're all untenable in my world.

The GA voting works well for those who control it. They like the system they can rig. All the cash is here in NYC. The setup works the same way it does in the real world. The GA gets the cash out of Finance through votes for projects. $29,000 was voted for a jaunt to Egypt.

This can't be about money because on Wall Street $500,000 is just lunch money. What's going on?

The cash is tightly controled by an OWS financial elite. No one outside of this tiny group has seen so much as a bank statement. Despite cries for transparency, they refuse.

Well many of those in control are govt infiltrators who are expert at what they do. Most Americans are no match for them. They are gregarious and forceful. There is a lot of peer pressure to conform to standard behavior.

That there are no leaders is a myth. It began as a leaderless movement, allowing infiltrators to fill the leadership void. Think about it. Most people are followers. Few are leaders. No matter what, most people will follow the few.

Just think of when you go to one of those gatherings like a wedding where there is a buffet. They announce that the buffet is open. Everyone sits there frozen -- not making a move. Finally someone (like me) heads on over and grabs a plate. The mobs immediately rush the buffet.

--Which isn't to say that there are not many who do not conform to this. Genuine true blue to the cause people who do not follow or know who to follow.

Are you at any occupation? I suspect not or you wouldn't be so negative. Whatever it is you want to do, how, exactly, do you propose going about doing it?
