As things have been progressing, it is obvious that all of the people running for the 2012 USA presidency are incompetent to say the least. The Republicans have been made a joke of with their ridiculous debates, and Obama has lead us forward with false promises. Are these people really just puppets for some yet unknown group that really calls the shots? Perhaps, perhaps not. The fact of the matter is that the government has failed us countless times, especially in recent years. Both sides have been spitting out people who don't have the ability to fight for what America actually needs. No more violent warfare abroad (or anywhere) is acceptable, especially when they use false pretenses such as peace to allow it to continue while millions suffer. Many people don't understand, the tax payers pay billions or even trillions of dollars on these wars while the top 1% benefits. They benefit by buying the other country's currency before the war, then selling the currency back after the war when a new conformable 'order' is established in the foreign country; the value of their currency rises making the share holders loads of profit. These violent actions are starting to upset the rest of the world, and this may cause yet even more violence. It would be terrible if all Americans are held accountable for what a few greedy people are choosing to do. I'm not going to rant farther about how these top 1% have done us wrong because, the list continues to grow. It is known that almost all people who hold an influential position in the government also come from very wealthy families, and it seems like the average American no longer has a say in anything anymore. We cant allow things to go on like this any farther. For the sake of American people, things need to change. For the sake of the world, we need to get these greedy and power hungry people out of office. People can only be pushed so far before things get ugly, and things have been getting more and more ugly. So far the occupy movement has gained a lot of followers, and this is exactly what we need. There are 2 major problems though. The first, occupy needs to get smart and organized. We need to find our own people to run for political positions. We need to start holding our own debates. We need someone somewhere to rise up and fight for what Americans really want; we need intelligent people who are capable of going into debates with Obama and the other hooligans. So far, very few people (on the scale of things) back up occupy. We need to using advertising, have formal meetings, and other means to spread our ideas. The second problem is how the current government controls the media.. The media already shows the occupy movement as a bunch of unintelligent homeless people and college drop outs who have no idea what America actually needs (which we all know is not the case) Occupy will not be able to rely on television or other forms of spreading information because this too is controlled by those in power. We all know Fox News has basically been brainwashing the country for years, and media such as this will never actually be helpful for us. America can change. It will not be easy because, the wealthy have such a grasp on our government, and have even changed laws to protect themselves. There is no possible way we, the people, will ever be able to change anything in a violent way, for a number of reasons: 1) Violence just leads to more violence, and someone will eventually get persecuted somewhere again. 2) It is impossible to fight the government with all the technology they posses. If the American people are to succeed, we need to do so in a peaceful manner. We need to change things by playing their game. We are definitely not going to be dealt a fair hand, and we're always going to be fighting in an uphill battle (perhaps more like climbing a vertical wall than a hill) but we need to keep pushing. We can do this by finding intelligent, informed people who have good morals to help us make a difference.

The political system is controlled by a wealthy elite that controls the government by way of a two-party duopoly that only gives us an illusion of choice. If we are to bring democracy to America the people must have power. And we won't have power until we overthrow this corporatocracy. Solution: we must run our own candidates. Let's create our own people's platform (I have a site at Ameriplat.com) and then endorse candidates that are committed to seeing it implemented. It won't be easy. But it must be done. And it must be done now before it's too late.
