I am curious because for some reason I can't find this anywhere. What is the mission statement of what the occupy group stands for. The tea party had a list of things they believed in and what there purpose was. I am trying to find the goal and or set of beliefs the occupy wall street movement stands for. Has anyone asked what it will take to end the protests? If anyone can answer that would be great. Thanks

I agree with MMacgregor. I am missing a vision and a goal. When I look @ revolutionairy leaders like MLK and Gandhi. They had a vision and a goal. Without this I do not think you can say you are representing the 99%.

That is not a goal you only told me the means you have chosen to achieve a goal. I still don't know what the goal is. What will it take for the occupy wallstreet to end.

Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants.

This #ows movement empowers real people to create real change from the bottom up. We want to see a general assembly in every backyard, on every street corner because we don't need Wall Street and we don't need politicians to build a better society.

does this help you? its from the front page of ows.
