A debate between a rebranded Conservitive and a rebranded Liberal on what needs to be done about low wages in America is the topic of this video. But on a side note, I get such a kick out of people who try and tell me there is a difference between a Conservitive and a Libertarian. As this video shows, if it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck and looks like a duck it must be a rebranded duck. Although my rant is off topic from the video, I needed to get that off my chest. As the video shows, the only difference between a Libertarian and a Conservitive is that a Libertarian is usually younger.------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My take on the debate is because the Fed is inflating the dollar, then the only logical thing to do is raise the minimum wage. Wage earners are seeing their perchasing power demineshed which is having negetive effects all the way up the wealth ladder. A raise in minimum wage would rebalance the economy, pushing money out of the stock market and into the hands of those who need it the most. There are two reasons American corporations are doing well, quantitative easing being dumped into stocks and foreign markets. If Libertarians were not schilling for capital and those who are wealthy, they would have to know that lack of purchasing power that many Americans, both middle class and working class, are living with, is the reason our economy is sluggish. The answer is so vivid it sickens me that noone of importance can see it. __ --Quantitative easing is putting our economy off kilter and raising the minimum wage will rebalance it. -------------------------------------------------- http://rt.com/shows/crosstalk/mcdonalds-us-american-dream-725/
