I haven't found the story online yet. Yesterday I saw a report on Iran's alleged threat to shut down the Strait of Hormuz. The report talked about the threat posed by Iran's medium range missiles. As the "reporter" yammered on about how scary Iran is, footage of missiles being launched or aimed at targets flashed in the screen. Strangely, the missiles in question were US Hawk and Patriot systems.
This is lying. It is showing us imagery, clearly intended to represent the threat posed by Iran, but actually depicting something completely different. The attempt at brainwashing is, to me, so transparent as to be insulting. Sadly, for those who know no better, it may be convincing.
The MSM needs to be exposed for what it is, a lie factory.
Welcome to 2012. News orgainizations do that all the time. Do you think they have reporters out there with the Iranians? That doesn't mean that they don't have the technology. They have been threatening to close the straights for years. They have run boats at our Naval vessals for years there trying to incite a fight. The Straights account for a huge portion of world commerce and that threat alone is serious to the entire world.
Why use false images? Why do they need this dramatization to deliver the story?
As for Iran. I seriously doubt they are going to intentionally provoke a war. I'm skeptical about any of these reports about Iranian belligerence. Let's face it. Iran is not our enemy. They oppose the Zionist regime. Oh, and they won't submit to the international bankster cartel.
I understand you being a skeptic about Iran but just like Russia did during the cold war in the Black Sea, Iran has for years run there little gun boats as close as they can to other countries military ships trying to provoke them to fire at them so they can claim that they were attacked. That's not made up, you are getting that first hand. They have also tested remote controled jet skies. The theory there is to send a mass of jet skies at a ship all or some of them loaded with explosives. The anticipation is some of them will be destroyed but one will most likely make it through. They also believe that if they control the straights, that they will control a big portion of world commerce. They are correct that they would, but it would never happen.
So why conflate your propaganda with lies? We have always been at war against the Shia the Sunni have always been our friends.
