Forum Post: Livestream Moderators Suppressing Free Discussion

Someone needs to get the livestream chat moderators off their high horse and let people speak. They're saying we can't talk about politics? WTF? The movement is about the influence of money in politics. The moderators are acting stupid, and if they represent the whole of the OWS movement, I just won't be able to support this because it's not even intelligent. I'm getting the impression that this is being run by a bunch of 12 year olds.

I think these Moderators (and you know who you are) are not representing many of the 99%. Certainly they don't represent me in the chat rooms. What's the point of starting a political movement against the Wall Street banking system, then banning free speech against the Federal Reserve and solutions to the problem? There is no debate or discussion of politics allowed in these chat rooms.

To them I say: Okay, alienate many of your supporters and contributors. there are other Occupy and other issue-focused groups to support and contribute to. Good luck.

Hopefully the 99% that don't believe censorship by the 0.0000001% is representative of the goals and foundation of Occupy Together, will address these few internet bullies. Then the debate can begin for the hearts and minds of the public we must convince of our beliefs.

there has been a lot of complaints about the moderators in the chat room, they do not cross in to the forums, I think moderators started that chat room not the admin of this site, they just got it tied in to the site...

browse the forums for a while you will see a totally different attitude.

I agree Getting money out of politics is my goal here too Politics and voting are the only non-violent way to get change.

That's how big-money got the complete control that it has .... politics That's how we have to get them out

Then fuck them.

YouTube seems to work pretty well.

Besides, all they are doing is setting themselves up to be lambasted in the rest of OUR media... they ill find it to be a mistake.

In the meantime, forget about LiveStream, they are obviously not worth spending our time on.
