About the Occupy Movement

Some people mistakenly believe that the worldwide and growing Occupy movement is disorganized and remiss for not stating specific demands. Using Internet, I have studied New York City’s Occupy Wall Street (OWS) for three weeks. Many Occupy groups emulate OWS methods.

OWS has no leader. It has its own homegrown method for deciding by consensus. With no leader, OWS is like the hydra or English Ivy. When it gets kicked out of Zucotti Park, it will go somewhere else and continue. To understand something about how OWS organized itself beginning September 17 of this year, look on line for “Why The Elites Are In Trouble” by Chris Hedges.

[Feel free to copy/paste anything you like.]

It’s not OWS’s job to make demands. The elite know the Golden Rule as well as anybody. They just don’t want to follow it. OWS knows that. It’s in no hurry. This will take as long as it takes.

Some people say insulting things about Occupiers. They should inform themselves better before criticizing their neighbors, employers, friends, relatives, and customers.

The folks we send to Washington DC should be in New York City sitting respectfully at the feet of OWS to learn how things get done by real people with real concerns outside of themselves.

Underestimating and second-guessing a movement like this without understanding it is a fool's errand.

OWS has no leader.

Its leader is George Soros.

It’s not OWS’s job to make demands.

Its only demand is to get Obama re-elected.
