So for all you "gun banning nuts" what do you think about this?
Self-guiding Bullet Able to Hit Targets More Than a Mile Away
Weapons technology advances just like other technology. For instance, lasers sites are common on handguns these days. Just put the red (or green) dot on the bad guy and pull the trigger. Also red dot holographic sites and available, but still too expensive for the masses.
Also, in the last twenty years ammo technology has improved by leaps and bounds. For instance, most handgun calibers have +P designated ammo which basically means about twice the power as normal ammo. However, shooting +P ammo in a gun not rated P+ will break the gun quickly. Most guns can't shoot +P ammo.
So, the point is firearms technology continues to advance at a substantial pace. Also, I'd like one of the rifles in the video, but the starting price is around $25K.
