The Koch Brothers are worth $50 billion. They’ve bankrolled the Tea Party, the campaign against climate change science, and entire university departments to advance their right-wing agenda. The newest item on their shopping list: their own Center for American Progress.
This morning in Politico, Ben Smith breaks the news that the Koch Brothers and others on the right are launching a new organization explicitly modeled after ThinkProgress:
Impressed by the effectiveness of the liberal Center for American Progress, a group of conservative journalists and operatives are preparing to engage in their own sincerest form of flattery – launching an advocacy group with a similar name and mission but a very different target.

I sometimes find Alex amusing, but not around election time.
Amusing because it is just entertainment but if people take it seriously they need to take a step back and examine the propaganda.
Most have no idea what it is, or how to even recognize it.
It's literally everywhere.

It's the latest installment in Brave New Foundation's "Koch Brothers Exposed" series, which critically examines the political advocacy work of David and Charles Koch of Koch Industries, a private energy conglomerate based in Kansas. The Koch family foundations are among the largest sources of funding for the U.S. conservative movement and promote an agenda of education privatization.
"The Koch brothers have more than $42 billion to make public policy out of their anti-government ideology," says Robert Greenwald, founder of Brave New Foundation. "Their assault against public education epitomizes their tactics to remake our nation."
Not to mention that one of the brothers was a co-founder of the Libertarian party.
